Talis Modern Bath and Kitchen Sink Soap Dispenser in Chrome, 40448001

We learned our lesson with soap dispensers for our sink. We bought a no name inexpensive one from a big box hardware store thinking they were all the same. While the old one functioned; it also dripped and then eventually just stopped working. It also did not really match anything we had other than in its finish. This time when we changed out our faucet we decided to go with a well known name: what a difference a Hansgrohe product makes. The dispenser is not only shaped in a way to match most faucets, but it is also very sturdy, does not drip, and goes far enough into the sink that we can use it without having to take pots and dishes up to it to get soap. It is also wide enough at the top and so easy to dispense that just pushing it with part of our hands will dispense soap. It is easy to install and given its evident quality; a good value as well.

Purchased my first under-counter soap dispenser in 2014 during a kitchen remodel (and off-brand). It worked for 5 years but was never great - from that experience, I assumed soap dispensers were never gonna be completely satisfactory (they would clog or not draw soap fully up sometimes). I finally decided enough was enough & started “the great soap dispenser search of 2021” :-) 5 mid-priced, unsatisfactory dispensers later , I finally decided to stop being a cheapskate & ordered the Hansgrohe (have a Hansgrohe Talis faucet in Steel Optik finish). Oddly the design of the Talis soap dispenser is not exactly a match for the Talis faucet - it close enough but strange how Hansgrohe didn't mimic the shape of the talis faucet - not a big deal. Also, the steel optik finish of the faucet is slightly deeper than that soap dispenser, so close its almost hard to tell. The function of the Hansgrohe Soap Dispenser is awesome & clearly a well made product - much heavier & solid than other dispensers I tried. The outlet of the Hansgrohe also has a hidden rubber tip for clearing/cleaning dried soap residue. The Hansgrohe is the best soap dispenser I have ever used - works perfectly & built to last a lifetime. In fact, all Hansgrohe products I’ve used have been exceptional. Design-wise, the Talis Soap Dispenser is attractive & would go with any modern/contemporary style kitchen. Don’t buy 5 cheapos like I did ... you get what you pay for. I now own 3 of these dispensers for my home and cottage.

Nice replacement for an existing soap dispenser. Well machined and a high quality fit and finish. Which ever product you choose, be sure the soap container screws into the mechanism. Some are pushed into place and held with plastic detents. This approach is not as solid and the container is not as secure, easily to fall off creating a mess.

I have two of these mounted in my quartz sink countertop - one for dish soap and one for hand soap. My last cheap pair rusted and the plastic bottles split open and leaked. 4" was taller than I expected, but we grew to like that height because hand washed items are less likely to bang on the sink or quartz. They are attractive, work easier than the cheap ones. I only gave four stars because they are expensive. I would do it all over again!

First off, it’s GORGEOUS! The finish is polished nickel, which is almost impossible to find anymore. It’s weighty, which typically means quality, and the larger size might be a hindrance, if it wasn’t so beautiful!! This is replacing a 2013 Hansgrohe soap dispenser with an 8-ounce bottle that always needed refilling. This new bottle holds almost double the amount of liquid soap and comes with a perfectly-sized funnel to add soap without any drips! Love the little rubber tip on the dispenser, which keeps soap from gumming up. Great design, substantial weight, elegant polished nickel finish.

A Beautiful soap dispenser that has a spout long enough to reach a little beyond the sink- the first one we bought was too short and the installer of new countertops insisted that the holes be drilled in a straight line: meaning that the faucet and the dispenser holes are in line with each other. This dispenser meets that need as well as being a Hans Grohe so it matches the faucet (nit picky.. but still). East to install, works as it should - we're happy. Oh! and it was a 'used' or 'returned" item offered by Amazon and it was in perfect condition. This is the 3rd time we have ordered a return and they have all been just like new. This dispenser came in its original box.

For starters, we returned this. It felt so sloppy and cheap compared to the Grohe brand versions of these we’ve used in the past, in our three kitchen/pantry sinks. Our old Grohe dispenser died on the sink we use the most, and we thought we’d try this cheaper Hansgrohe version to replace it, but hated it. It felt like it was going to break after a while of using it. Returned it and purchased a Grohe dispenser instead for a solid, well built piece of perfection that should last for years and years of use.

Six months ago I purchased a much cheaper one that looked great from the outside but the inside was cheap plastic that broke, creating waste. This one is solid all around, and the pipe where you screw the plastic connector on is made is Metal (that’s the part that broke off on my old one). Great suction power too as I use the MT tubing system direct to the Dawn bottle under the sink.

This soap dispenser is well built and more solid than some of the other cheaper brands. I liked that the fitting that sits above the sink is 1 piece, rather than a collar and fitting which I find is the thing that comes loose in the cheaper brands. Now, the cream of the crop was the wing nut underneath. Having a really deep sink means I never have a lot of space to tighten the fixture. Having the wingnut meant I could fabricate a piece of pipe to use as a twisty thing, so I didn't have to try and squeeze my hand underneath and apply pressure for tightening. This install was so easy. I love it, it really looks smart on my benchtop.

さすがハンスグローエ、品質が素晴らしい。 ズッシリと重く、プッシュした時のガタつきやスプリングの跳ねなど皆無です。 押したときの手応えや出る量も良いし、その後の液ダレもありません。 これまでは2千円ぐらいの無名中国製品を2個使いましたが、漏れたり無駄に飛び出したり錆びたりして、まさに安物買いの銭失いでした。 最初からこれを買えば良かったです。

Fonctionne très bien. Son long bec permet d'éviter les coulisses de savon sur le bord de l'évier.

Facile à installer et à utiliser

I used this to cover a hole that used to be for a sprayer in the quartz counter top that was cut to 1.5" rather than the usual 1.25" for a soap dispenser. It works great. The construction is solid and the pump is firm, 100% recommend it.
