Very nice quality and functionality. An excellent value.
Very nice appearance, matches Apple aluminum products well. Quality is very good and I've had no issues, so I would highly recommend this product and others by this brand, as I was impressed overall.

Great keyboard for Mac
I like the feel of this keyboard - it has good tactile response and the round keys are a cool throwback look to the days of the typewriter. It was plug and play with my Mac Studio - love it.

Very nice replacement keboard for iMac.
I'd never been thrilled with the Bluetooth keyboard that originally shipped with my 2014 iMac. I have about four sets of rechargeable batteries, and they have reached the end of their lifespan and pretty much every time I turn around, the keyboard is running out of power. As I this is a desktop computer, I decided to get a corded keyboard. I have used Macally keyboards before and trusted them. This keyboard caught my attention because I liked the round keys and the fact that it had a numeric keypad and a ton of function keys. It was also priced very well here.It shipped really quickly and I was impressed how substantial it is. Looks great, feels great, much wider than the stock iMac keyboard. Seems more professional. Some reviews have said you need a hard touch on it, but I haven't found that. Of course, I do have a hard touch as I started on typewriters many years ago, so it feels good to me.The one thing I will say: it *feels* like the spacing between the keys is different than the Mac keyboard. Could be 'cause they're round, could be because the keyboard is wider so its placement on my desk is different, or it could just be me. So I'm having to acclimate myself to typing on this. I need to look at the keyboard more, and also, just to make sure I'm striking everything, I've turned on the Mac's typing noise effects. I've pretty much gotten used to it within a couple of days. And, again, it may be me.The only other thing I'd say is that I wish it offered a USB port that I could plug my trackball into. But it may just be too slim to have the space for one, and that, too, is no big deal.I have given this five stars because I think it's a solid, well-built, attractive keyboard. Especially for the current price on Amazon.

unbelievably good for what seems like a pretty low price
I've been using this on my iMac at work for a couple of months now. I'm consistently please with the typing experience and overall feel of this keyboard. The only way it could possibly be better would be... well, I can't think of anything.*Aesthetics: 10/10 - it looks as good as anything can for a Mac. I REALLY like the round keys.*Key feel and feedback: 10/10 - I cannot overstate how good this feels to type on. The feels of the keys, even during fast typing, is on par with keyboards that cost 3x more than this one.*Key spacing: 11/10 - you have to actually try to fat finger anything - and i have pretty fat fingers*Acoustics: 10/10 - this has the prefect sound for my preferences*Build Quality: 10/10 - no chassis echo, no squeaky keys, no chassis rattle. I type pretty hard, but this keyboard does not rattle - unlike my $130 Corsair "gaming" keyboard.*Overall value: 12/10 - this is one of, if not the top, product quality-to-price ratio keyboards I've bought in the last 25 years. Seriously, I have paid a LOT more than this for keyboards that weren't half as good to type on. I much, MUCH prefer this Macally keyboard to Apple's overpriced magic keyboard that it replaced. If Apple priced their keyboard the same as, or even 30% cheaper than, the Macally; I'd still buy the Macally keyboard.

Cheap and acceptable keyboard for a Mac.
Let's be clear, this is a pretty cheap keyboard. I do not think one should expect it to be as nice as the Apple keyboards. But it is really pretty good. I very much like that it is made out of aluminum and not plastic (the structure, the keys are plastic). Reducing plastic is ALWAYS a good thing and that is a very big positive for this keyboard. The build feels solid so that is a plus too. I plugged it into an old Mac (I think it is a 2011 iMac) and it worked just fine right out of the box, no issues at all. So compatibility wise it was very good as well. And the price is a huge positive, it is far cheaper than the official Apple keyboards. The only negative is the keys are round and they feel a bit wobbly compared to a good Apple keyboard. But again, if that is the only negative, given the price and the fact it is not all plastic, I think that is a pretty good deal. I would not want to write a 500 page novel on this keyboard, but for basic administrative work on an old Mac, I think it is fine and saving the dollars was a good choice.

glorified generic apple keyboard
If you like using a MacBook with all its short cuts or its layout, that's great for you. But honestly, I kept using this just because the keyboard did not feel too "mushy" it felt soft and clicked at a comfortable setting. It's not annoying enough to bother people but not too silent that it feels like you aren't doing anything. I don't like the apple layout of this keyboard, but that's my problem from not liking it. The other thing I really like about this layout is that it has its own number pad on the right side to do some simple math problems I kind of encounter on a daily basis. The keyboard feels pretty solid, doesn't feel cheap at all. It is very noticeable when it gets dusty, so either covers your keyboard or prepare to clean it very often. No backlight so you can't really use this in the dark. The round keys are fantastic I wish there are more like this. I would say you get a very decent keyboard with this price. The only complaints I have are the settings I try to put on the keyboard layout do not stay on permanently, so all my shortcuts are gone by the next time I restart my PC, but that's super small that I don't really worry about.

Awesome For Those On A Budget
The keyboard has been amazing so far. My only issue is that the keys are shaky and aren't 100% precise so you have to press a bit harder (I usually hot keyboard keys softly as I'm used to more touch responsive keyboards). All in all though, I believe I made the right choice in buying it and I think it would be a great choice for others on a budget as well.

Spend the money for a better keyboard
This keyboard is how you say... no bueno. I was looking for a cost effective replacement for my Apple keyboard that met an untimely demise after I spilled water on it. This Macally seemed to tick so many boxes: affordable, aluminum build, stylish round key low profile design, optimized for Apple, full key set, etc. Everything was great until I plugged it in and went to work. Several keys are unresponsive during regular typing and require a second or third harder press to get it to register. The number 2 in the top row for example. I specifically chose a wired version because my older Mac Mini was having trouble staying connected to my other Bluetooth Logitech keyboard but this one introduced other problems. Spend the cash and get something more reputable. I moved to a Logitech MX Mechanical Mini with the logi bolt connector and it's a night and day improvement (granted at a totally different price point.)

Works well...when it works
This keyboard would be perfect, except for the fact that every so often it decides to not work for about 10-20 seconds. Usually after hitting Caps Lock but sometimes just randomly. Really annoying and if you’re on a roll productivity wise it can get super frustrating. Other than that it’s quiet, sleek, and designed exactly like an apple keyboard.

It is just Superb!
I just received the item today. I love the brand, Macally so no doubt about the quality. It is Super Comfortable, Quiet, and Responsive. Furthermorr, its price is very affordable. Less than $25. Wireless version is way too expensive so perhaps try this one first :) In terms of Durability, not sure for now. I will make an update if there is an issue. Good luck!

Not what it was supposed to be
Was supposed to be steel and it wasn't so not happy with it. My son is a gamer and won't use it because it is not comfortable to use. Worst Christmas present he got. Not worth the money.
