Tmi have carpet and these worked great because they mount to the wall not the floor. Theye are not fancy like some but they are low profile. I was worried about kicking them but that isn't an issue since you can adjust their thickness to however snug to the door yiu want them. They come with black felt for the inside so your doors don't get scuffed. My doors are white so I glued white felt inside instead. Don't waste your money on those other "fancy" ones. I bought them and returned them. These are simple, low profile depth, and the best for my needs.

Quality build, easy to install, quiet because of felt pads
Purchased this to replace broken plastic barn door guides. It was very easy to install on my baseboards and it is quiet because of the adhesive felt pads that came with the device. It is solid steel, very strong, and well made. It looks good after installation. I would recommend it over the plastic OEM part.

Nice Hardware
We upgraded our previous plastic door guides to these metal ones and really like them. They're compact, mount to the wall (instead of the floor), and are adjustable for a perfect fit. Overal, they look nice and do the job we need them to. Happy with this purchase.

Worked Great for Barndoor track
I was so happy to find an adjustable nickel color track for my new barn-door installation. None of the local hardware stores carried much of a selection. This one is adjustable and worked well without removing or cutting the baseboards. Plus it matches the rest of the hardware.

Sizing not as stated
The product listing said that it goes up to 2 1/4” on inside dimensions. However the item I receive only went up to 1 7/16” on the inside dimensions. Extremity disappointed that it doesn’t work.
