Great anchor system for any heavy duty mounting. I use these anchors to attach pedestal seats to my boat deck. The seat welds have failed before these anchors do.

Item description clearly states "Minimum Compatible Thickness" of mounting surface is 0.375" (3/8") - that is incorrect. This item will not work with thickness of less than 0.625" (5/8"). See attached picture showing minimum mounting gap @ 0.625".
