Will this work with Cat 7 cable/pass through ends?

will it crimp normal plugs too

I am not entirely sure but guess it should. This crimper has blade to cut the pass through cables and hence for a normal plug too it should so the job. But if you buy these I would recommend that you buy the pass through plugs as they are simmich easy to use and cost almost the same as the normal ones especially if you are doing cat6a 7 cables.

I received one and crimping and cutting is fine but it doesent strip the sleeve. the blade dont reach the cat5 sleve. what do i do wrong?

With cat 5 cable, the stripping blade will only slightly cut the plastic outer sleeve, so as to not cut the core cables insulation. Hold the cat 5 cable more loosely while turning in the stripping blade, that works best…
