DMCPRISM-NEON Prism 6-Strand Floss Pack 8.7 yd, Neon, Pack of 24

I ordered this thread thinking it was the same DMC thread I have used priviously. When the thread came, there was DMC brand on any of the bands of thread. It does read Prism Tie Dye and have the picture of a wrist with several bracelets. The thread is NOT strong and seperate/breaks after using for two or three stiches. Very frustrating!! Wasted money and a great deal of time trying to make this thread work! Disappointed!!

So this is a good product, and I have no issue with it. My issue with this order was that I selected one address and Amazon shipped it to my main address instead. I'm 100% sure I selected the other address, triple checked and everything. No idea, but it's nothing to do with the actual product's quality. They arent the top of the line, but they work exactly the same for projects that arent top of the line type things. I've noticed that a few people thought this was the DMC thread because that's what it says on the tag, but looking at the image will tell you otherwise. This is not by any means DMC thread. It is Prism thread, as it says, and it is MADE IN CHINA. a quick look at the image with the magnifying glass will show that the wraps on the thread skeins say made in china.

I bought the jumbo pack for friendship bracelets and I love the color options! My bracelets have come out so beautiful. If you want a whole lot of very colorful thread to make bracelets with, this is the stuff! It’s not very high quality but you can’t tell in a bracelet! I didn’t get a picture of all of the thread but I included a picture of all the purples just for reference.

Unlike DMC's Prism cotton floss, which is typically used for friendship bracelets, the neon floss is polyester and works wonderfully for stitching. Unlike DMC's Light Effects polyester, this is smooth and fluffy, and does not feel like plastic. If one were not paying attention, it could be very easily mistaken for cotton. It does not fray or fall apart the way Light Effects neon does, making it much easier to use.It comes with ten shades of assorted neon colours, plus two variegated options. Like many brands, the blues and purples do not glow well on their own, but will stand out against a black background under black or UV light.I find this floss very easy to stitch with. Because it is polyester, it resists fading or tangling. However, it does not have numbers attached, so if you intend to use this in stitching software, you will have to manually assign numbers and import them. This floss does not glow in the dark.

Bought this for my daughters friendship bracelets. The colors arent super vibrant but to have so many of them she was bbn in heaven

Great value. Much cheaper than in the stores for the same product. A great selection of colors but not as many "double colors" as I would have liked.

This is NOT DMC floss. Impossible to separate into 3-thread strands for traditional embroidery needs. There is no sheen on this floss and it knots up easily. There are multiples of the same solids/variegated colors - not 105 different colors. I would like to return but seller doesn't allow returns. Do not waste your money on this mess of poor quality floss.

This pack's listing states 36 skeins of variegated threads, meaning each skein is of a variegated style, (meaning multi coloured) in actual fact, only 13 of the 36 are variegated thread! The rest are plain colours, which I have plenty of! And the 13 in the pack, there are only 5 colours! 3 of each blue mix, orange /yellow mix, pink mix & purple mix! There is one skein of a black/white/grey mix. Also the listing also says DMC. These are NOT genuine DMC threads, but cheap knock offs... But I guess you get what you pay for.....

Really pleased with this pack.I had to take a gamble as it wasn't completely clear what was in it, hence all the attached photographs to my review.They're wonderful colours. 18 variegated and 18 plain. All compliment each other really well. Seem good quality and not a terrible price at just over £4.

These skeins aren't very good quality for embroidery, they're very scratchy and pull the fabric. The colour is lovely and can be used if you persevere.

Well worth the money as the colours are fantastic. They sew really well and I would definitely recommend.

fabulous fast delivery , was a little disappointed that they were advertised as variegated but only a quarter of the pack were , the rest were plain which i have plenty of already
