Denon DRA800H (Black) Network Stereo Receiver

Ok so I've only had the unit for a few days but pleased with it so far. It's replacing a 1980s Sony amp which had various analog sources feeding it: record deck, CD player, TV, Roku Soundbridge for DLNA music server and internet radio.The Denon is now doing the job of the Soundbridge. The network connection was easy to set up and it found my DLNA server immediately.I'm slightly disappointed that the built-in TuneIn internet radio blocks some non-UK stations that I used to listen to (licencing issues apparently), and there doesn't seem to be a way of manually adding the station's internet streaming address as can be done (apparently) with a stand-alone TuneIn app.I've had it playing as a Spotify device controlled from my laptop.Sound quality on all sources seems very good. Lots of configuration options for assigning and naming inputs, this can all be set up using a connection to a TV to view the setup, or via a browser page.

Shout out to Richer Sounds who were the seller via Amazon. My first Denon unit developed a couple of issues after about a month (bluetooth kept dropping, it did not like playing from USB sticks and HEOS would not connect either). Richer sounds arranged an exchange without any quibble and the second unit is faultless 6 months on.The amount of connectivity is incredible - I end up using it mostly on a bluetooth connection to my phone but I also use the internet radio, DAB and the built in Amazon and Spotify app. It has plenty more features that I don't use too! It was pretty easy to set up, I have it connected to 4 floor standing speakers which are in two rooms so sometimes I power all 4 speakers and others times, via one button press, I change to two speaker output. It has a significant amount of power and connected to my mid range Q Acoustic 3050i speakers, the sound quality is great. I'm very happy with the Denon and am amazed at what you get for just £500

This product brought me roaring into the 21st Century! The wi-fi compatibility with my I-phone makes it a really slick and easy product to use. My only gripe is that the aerial provided is not powerful enough to receive a signal for DAB transmission. I've connected it to my outdoor antennae and that didn't work! I'm currently waiting on a booster digital antennae that's going to be attached to my existing outdoor aerial. The connectivity to a sub woofer and my tv audio makes for cinema like quality when films are being watched. Truly authentic. I recommend this product.

Okay, so I am new to this Hifi Game. I only have A small Living room so this Does it all,for me.I Don't like the Manual instructions, As Denon Seem to Assume that Everyone wants to connect the receiver through the T.V.Well I Don't, so it Took some time to work stuff out.The product itself seems great,well Pleased with the quality,At A very reasonable price.

Great for connecting to turn table vinyl sounds great and streaming from Amazon music is on another level . great for films when connected to tv highly recommend worth every penny of £500

The Denon DRA800H had a lovely sound and works great with Spotify etc...But if you were hoping to use it as an internet radio with TuneIn forget it! TuneIn has been sued by Warner and Sony and now in the UK only allows you to listen to radio from Cyprus, Germany and, well, UK.Useless
