Purchased this horn and all good except it bent and stayed bent after only 2 weeks...how does one avoid or unbend ?

What bent? The 'spring' holding the little horn or the rod? Regardless, it's all about allowing the device to 'work' for itself... slide your toes up in the shoe, put the horn inside the shoe at your heel, as you slide your heel into the shoe, pull up (not at an angle) on the rod... use a little tenderness. Can't help on the unbend because I don't have that issue.

would this be good for getting on snug cowboy boots

I found it awkward with my boots because of the spring . I had bought it for boots but if I can't remove the spring I am going to buy another one.

How is the quality of the telescoping mecanism? i'm rough with things like this and if its weak or fragile i will break it. honest answers please!
