The Jeep has been topless most of the summer, and my wife and kids were starting to complain about the heat and sun. These are the PERFECT solution. They let the light through beautiful, but keep you cool and protected from the sun.Install was a little more frustrating than I would have liked, only when it came to the front windshield area. Instructions were quite poor and confusing, and could have been alleviated with easier access to a clear concise instruction video, for the model you actually purchase. There were supposed QR code’s to link to videos but, the QR code’s did not seem to actually connect me to the right content. Found videos that would have been useful after I was already finished Installing the shades. Obviously, the install on these is NOT rocket science, but it is kind of confusing to figure out without proper guidance, lots of trial and error. The paper instructions included were quite frankly, less than useless. My best tip would be to loosen the screws that attach your windshield to the rollbar quite a bit to make it nice and easy to slide the elastic through.Once on, they look and function great. I saw some reviews about tearing or needing to remove the shades to reinstall the t-tops. Zero concerns here. I didn’t even have to unhook any of the straps to put my tops back on (front or back). Simply don’t manhandle the material or your tops, and reach your hands around the shade to maneuver the latches.Two additional bonuses, I wasn’t even planning on... they really reduce the wind noise while driving quite significantly. PLUS, they keep more of the sound from the stereo in the cab, even on the highway. I’ve always got to be having some tunes playing when I drive, so it can be annoying when you can’t hear the radio, because the Jeep is naked. But these honestly make a really big difference! Despite install confusion, I would 100% buy again without hesitation. Five stars, even with the poor instruction lol

Consistent with most reviews, the instructions are terrible. Just note that front and back are different sizes.The product itself is amazing. Very good materials, solid once in place with no wind noise and looks incredible. Low profile, blends in with the vehicle and you forget its there.Just enough shade to make riding with the top off doable in the Miami sun yet you still get enough sunlight and air that you get the benefits of having the top off.

First, installation. It was not easy. It was not clear. I had to redo a couple of times. It is inexcusable that they do not include an quick guide to tell you which length straps go in which holes. Absurd. Once you get that figured out, the final result is beautiful. It is super tight and very quiet on the road. I live in a hot sunny climate, and since my skin is fair, if it is a sunny day, flipping back the top could be a little punishing. This blocks a lot of the harsh sun, but let the wind blow like there is nothing there.

I held off a few days to review as to have a few differing trips under my belt before I provide my insights.Takes some strain to install, but otherwise nothing you can’t handle.These shades help block against heat without a doubt! Black leather seats in my Jeep and leaving off the top without these always was a bit toasty. First day with these on was as if I parked under a tree.Wind noise is very well dampened. Took on highway speeds after install and could still have a conversation (or just not as much yelling).Excellent purchase and a great warranty to boot.

Easy to install. Faster with the help of another person. No need to loosen the windshield bolts.

Speaking from the heart: It's really the right mix for enjoying the topless experience without baking in traffic. The open sides let plenty of air through the car, while the shades show off the "bones" of the car.Speaking from the head: The instructions took a minute to make sense. The various T and ball bungees were very similar in length. Putting the front shade on can be accomplished with only the Freedom Tops off, if you are desperately over-eager and don't have a buddy available to help with the hard top. You have to fish the bungees through some pretty narrow gaps, but it can be done. I'm sure this is intended to be done with the whole top off, though. Once I took the top off, the second shade was very easy to install.I was dubious of the claims that it wouldn't flap, but I drive at or above highway speeds and after a month, I have not detected any flapping sound. These are really snug.I'm glad I chose these instead of the comparable one-piece shade I would have to remove anytime I replace the top. That's already enough of a chore.

First, I love this sunshade. It was fairly easy to install. I say fairly because the bungees are a little tight but that’s to be expected.Other reviews said they had to loosen or drop their windshield- I didn’t do any of this. I used the “tool” aka folded piece of paper and used it as intended.I did remove my freedom panels to install the front shade. I left my top on to install the back shade.It was a little tricky to put my freedom panels back on- but it’s doable.As far as the instructions: I didn’t think the instructions were bad however I did watch a YouTube video to watch someone install one.Each set of cords were labeled with the size and the instructions showed a clear pic of which one went where BUT it didn’t really explain how to install it- that’s where the YouTube video came in handy.All in all I think it’s great & worth the money :)

Looks great. Feels great. Not as hard as some say it is to install. I did it myself in a few minutes. The instructions aren’t the best but I found a YouTube video that helped make sense of it. And I love that I don’t have to remove it just the soft top back up. All in all... it’s totally worth it!
