HORRIBLE IN MULTIPLE WAYS. DEFECTIVE. BADLY DESIGNED. DO NOT BUY! ALL POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE!I have a 2005 VTX 1300 retro with the diamond-shaped tail light as this product is designed for.When simply trying to connect it into the light bulb socket, I ran into the first major issue: a normal light bulb can be grabbed and manipulated in its socket to twist it. This item, however, has no such leverage, and requires niche tools like special pliers that you have to jam into the squishy hot glue they used to fill the plug, which doesn't work and causes a lot of damage to the product and the bike (tried this with two people). A simple design feature like a welded-in wrench type apparatus, or a longer design with a grip would solve this, but no. Too much effort on their part.Second, and this is the main reason for the return........IT DOESN'T FIT. The circuit board is too large and improperly shaped for the light housing. Yes, there is an inner reflective component you take out, and even then it doesn't fit properly, and it's impossible to put the lens over everything in the end. Seriously, a major flaw that shows this was NEVER tested on an actual motorcycle, or this was half-finished and rushed to sales.I repeat: DO NOT BUY THIS. THIS DOES NOT FIT INTO THE HONDA VTX 1300 RETRO/CLASSIC DIAMOND TAIL LIGHT FIXTURE! YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY!

I give this product a 5-star review only based on appearance and easy to understand instructions however, I am unable to install the product. The item I received was what I ordered however it will not work for my bike. It is my belief that the search results I got back from my inquiry on Amazon returned the wrong results. The tail light I was looking for was for a 2013 Honda VTX 1800 and the product I ordered came from that search. So, I am unable to fairly review this item.

Overall its a nice break light. And the price was alot lower than any one else. My only complaint would be the part that replaces your actual bulb. Wires are hot glued. And its very difficult to push and twist in with nothing to hold on to without pulling the wires out. But at.tje end of the day. It looks pretty good.

The light is great and very visible. Due to the ill fitting, the lens does not seat at the top. I'm still trying to figure out how to seal it so water won't come in.

Theses were the wrong ones for my bike, I sent them back. But the build quality is great and they look great.

Super easy installation (have to remove the entire guts)...less than 10 minutes. Looks great.

Fitment is ok I had to modify it slightly to fit better but the led is pretty bright on the taillight/brake light I didn't use the turn signal part as I kept the originals in place.
