EDIT! March 2023, I put my phone on top of my car and forgot to pick it up. THIS CASE SAVED MY PHONE! 60 mph and it fell off the car. I found my phone after going back to find it. The back glass of the phone was shattered but the front was perfect! The case was definitely destroyed. I replaced the case already and my phone still works! BUY THIS CASE!I am currently purchasing my 3rd case from this brand, in October 2022 and last purchased Sept 21. It is the best one for durability! I am on my phone a lot, high usage daily. it lasts about a year(my almost 4 year old phone still working great!) The screen starts looking real scratched after about the year mark. The fingerprint spot will give trouble at first if you reopen the case. You just have to make sure it is clean and smooth where your thumb goes and it will still work. I have dropped my phone so many times, daily it seems; flat on the face and back, on the bottom, corners and sides, never have had an issue with protection. I am highly satisfied with this brand of case.

I ended up ruining the adhesive on the interior of the plastic screen protector by trying to keep the exterior and edges clean, which meant dissassembling the case. Without the adhesive, the protector will not adhere to the screen, so touch sensitivity is reducrd. Still works, just... delayed. Really frustrating to me as I'm used to a glass screen protector.So if you get this lovely heavy, protective case, you might want to:1. Get a glass screen protector and install it.2. Then install this case and make certain there is no dust on any surface, as its really noticeable if there is.... because while the casing is durable and heavy and will protect your $1000 phone, the plastic screen protector is a real disappointment. I ended up going with another shockproof case and am still unhappy because I liked this case better. And it let me do wireless charging with a kickstand, darn it.I can't comment on fingerprint reader as I don't use it.

The case itself feels of good quality and fits great. Feels premium, The only thing that isn't that great is the built in screen protector. It looks and feels cheap. The fingerprint reader works(you have to push harder than normal) if you installed it correctly without touching there solution for making the reader work. It looks and feels cheap. I have been using it for a 6 months and it still looks good. I decided to clean the case as i saw some build up on the camera hole. I ended up getting some cleaning solution on the area with the finger print reader(inside) and it just stopped detecting my finger. So this is good advice for those that own this case. So i was in the position of having to buy another case or finding a way to fix this.So my solution to fixing this was buying a screen protector and popping out the crappy built in one. It was super easy to pop out. I decided to buy the best screen protector you can buy which is white stone dome my other option was to buy this case again. I ended up getting the white stone on sale which some might say is not worth it as it cost more than this case. After installing it, it's night and day difference. Since there is barley to no space between the dome glass and screen the finger print reader works great there is no visible circle on the proctor and the glass feels some much better in hand than the original plastic piece this case comes with. It's a big difference. I can't go back. :) The case fits perfectly around the dome glass almost like it was made for it. The clarity is also another plus the built in screen proctor doesn't let all clarity of this amazing screen this phone has. You can probably get away with getting a cheaper screen protector. I can only vouch for the white stone and it's fitment with this case.

Long story short:Yes. The fingerprint reader absolutely works, but you have to install the front carefully.I think that alone justifies the value of this product.Yes. You MUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. You have to follow the instructions carefully or the adhesive wont apply to the fingerprint area and you will not have a good pickup. You have to not only clean the screen carefully but also apply/install the ftont protector very accurately.Im not saying this is hard to do, i did it first try without much awareness of what i was doing with moderate success.When i first applied the front, i got about 80% of the adhesive to touch the glass. Fingerprint reads worked but I could not make new ones in the OS. but over a few weeks it glued down by itself (I also squished it down with a credit card). This was my fault. I slightly goofed the install.If you do it right it should work with fingerprints created with or without the protector, as it does for me now.Not sure if this is a statement of the performance of this screen or the poor precision and security of an ultrasonic fingerprint reader but there it isTotally worth every penny.The only downside.... and this i think is an unavoidable tradeoff for a rugged case with screen protector and functional fingerprint reader... is that you probably cant remove the full case (notably the front) without compromising the adhesive.Eventually it will require replacing.That being said, all rugged cases with built in screen protectors require replacing, typically because the protector gets sacrificially scratched/cracked. This is true for any amount of money ($60 otterbox defender screen protectors practically crumble into dust), so i think the price is completely reasonsbleThe rest of the case is like a 1:1 nearly identical setup to any similarly designed rugged case. I have always had Supcase unicorn Beetle pros. This thing is practically identical and those things were fantastic... dropped my phones hundreds of times with zero issues. If anything its better. My old unicorn beetle pros had very rigid flap/covers for USB C that would push surprisingly hard against looser cables in a way i did not like. This one doesnt have that issue.

I bought this for my Samung Note 10 plus. It fits perfect. I love the purple! The screen protector is great, the stand on the.back cover does work.I dont use the fingerprint scanner so I have no idea.All the cutouts are where they should be. I would recommend!

Its fairly good case but when water gets in their its a bit of a challenge to use my phone other than its goodcase
