Fantastic, clean sound.

Great product, but does not work by itself.
This product is awesome, it works perfectly with my HD 650 and HD 700 and the quality increase is "noticeable". "If you like the product, why rating it only 2 stars?" one would ask. The answer is quite simple: the needed AC/AC Transformer for it to work DOES NOT COME ALONG WITH THE PRODUCT, it's very very very specific and hard to find. The only place I could find the AC/AC transformer they require was at Jds Labs website. In other words, after waiting 5 long weeks for my JDSLabs Objective2 + ODAC to be delivered in Brazil, I had to wait another month and spend more money ( almost US$30,00) in order to use it. At least for me, it was not clear at Amazon's Announcement that this product is incomplete and it needs more items in order to work properly.

Pass cheaper dac/amp combos have a power supply
289 dollars and no power supply..... did i miss that no wall wart/power supply was included?

Buyer beware
Sounds really really good but it didn't come with the power brick! My suggestion is to buy it on JDS LABS website where it's included free of charge. If you do decide to buy it here, JDS LABS sells the power brick separately as well.

Great little amp/dac
This is a great amp/dac, and for this price point you can't go wrong. However, I would like to note that as of 3/11/2015,despite what the buyer answers claim, this does not ship with the AC adapter, so without one, you will have an unusable product. I had to sit around for about a week until I was able to order and receive an adapter from JDS Lab's actual website.

Loving what I'm hearing - different world
Unbelievable difference in sound. Running Laptop to ODAC via USB. Win8.1 found the device, no drivers required. Playing Tidal in HiFi mode - completely different experience than that on PC, or iPhone, etc. Absolutely worth the money if you intend to listen this way.One down side is it does not come w/ a AC power supply.This will also amplify an analog device like an iPhone to drive headphones requiring more power. However I would not recommend it if you intend to use it solely for that purpose - instead get the much cheaper Objective2 (same amp without the DAC).
