A Must-Have for Loc Maintenance — Gentle, Precise, and So Easy to Use!
The EasyLoc tool is a total game changer for maintaining my sisterlocks! It’s designed just right — smooth, lightweight, and easy to grip, with no pulling, snagging, or discomfort. I love that it doesn’t damage or weaken my locs like some other tools I’ve tried. It works perfectly for micro to medium-sized locs and gives me the control I need without frustration. The designer shape makes it easy to guide through the hair, and I really appreciate the care that went into making something this effective and gentle.Whether you're maintaining your own locs or helping someone else, this tool is a must-have in your kit!

Micro locs tool review
This tool has helped me with my micro locs tremendously. The design of the tool allows you to get extremely close to the loc. That price did kind of deter me but I got it because it was hairstylist recommended.

Hair Freedom!
4 years with locs and the metal version has allowed me to maintain my hair quite well, I liked the idea of the flexibility of a polymer so I purchased the new version to try my thick hair did not like it at all 20 or so locs into my latest re ti ....my tool just snapped:-( see pic. Sooo back to the original.... some things are fine the way they areWow!. SO I finally got loc'd up after considering it for 3 years. One of the reasons I was reticent was that I did not want to leave my hair at the mercy of another person. I have limited time to go to the salon, and I so wanted something that required less work to maintain. I got my locs installed in early July, I was committed to at least 6 mos-1 year of going to salon for re-ti's as my hair grows quickly and I like to keep it neat. I don't like to wait until the last minute to make an appointment, so I called my loctician the first week in August to schedule a future re-ti, she is very busy and never got back to me....In the mean time I had ordered this to have when I decided to take over the care of my locks. When it arrived I was so impressed with the craftsmanship and presentation, I found the FB video instructions and tried it out , it was so incredibly easy.... 5 episodes of House of Cards later...I have retightened my whole head. I love, love, love this and that it allows me to take care of my hair myself. The tool is metal and smooth so there is nothing to catch your hair on and snag. The tool is curved so with some care you don't connect locs by accident. When I am done I wipe it with an alcohol wipe and store it in the case it comes in . If she can fit me in by next time great if not ...Me, Netflix and my Easy Loc will get it done:-Update: After paying 49.00 for my Easyloc a couple of months ago I kept it on my wish list as I planned to purchase another one later so that I had a backup. I noticed the price was lowered to $35.00:-(. I went directly to the site and found that a single was 30.00 and buy two get one free........$59.95!! WHAT!!! so now I can have 3 more for $10.00 plus my price originally. Since I paid more than $500 to get my hair locked, I have a vested interest in keeping it nice, so I swallowed hard and bought the buy two get one free deal, so now for less than the cost of one retightening session I have four tools and can do it myself, on my schedule, not bad at all. I also have a couple of the nappylocs tools that I carry in my train case that I carry when I travel( I figured I wouldn't be as mad if I lost a $17.00 hair thingy as opposed to a $50.00 one) I like them also.I think that the Easyloc is still better because it is larger(less hand cramping) adjustable, and the curve helps a great deal.

Bait and switch is NOT cool, ever
(Revised review due to the seller having prior deleted)While I realize the seller commented this plastic version is 'better' than the version many customers actually paid for and waited on, it's still a bait and switch to the listing we saw when we paid all that money for metal, not plastic. Those of us that held our orders a few months ago paid for *stainless steel*. It's our choice as customers to pass on plastic if we choose but the problem is we were not given that choice as buyers. That choice was made for us after we fully anticipated something else.As far as the product quality, this product is a RIP OFF in my opinion. It is nothing like what was paid for and expected. It's flimsy, cheap and poor quality. Compared with the metal versions I've had to buy from another seller sending customers what they actually asked for, here are some things that prove this cheap plastic CANNOT replace metal or pass as a 'superior' product:a) cannot resize opening with plyers for smaller locksb) super flimsy, difficult to impossible to loop through tight spaces when making repairs on hair. This can be done with metal versions.c) Constantly bending when needing it to stay straight; not as reliabled) not as hygienic as metal or versatile to cleane) Being made out of cheaper plastic, this means that it cost less to make than metal, yet the product price has been increased. This seems a bit gimmicky to me. That means this cheaply made product now has a higher profit margin to the seller, yet with a more expensive price that is picked up by the customer. Feels like a double rip off effect considering this product isn't that good while the prior metal product that this plastic listing has replaced had a nearly 5-star rating.Again, having suffered extreme buyers remorse and betrayal in this is not the product that was asked for, paid for, and anticipated, I use now have to use the LFaize version of this tool by another seller here on Amazon. If you don't want to pay all this for plastic, that seller advertises and sends metal only.As far as customer service, we should have been apologized to and given a 100% refund, but instead, I saw that customers received a copy and paste reply explaining why the seller's choice over the customers was 'better'.Switching to a 'new model' when a customer paid for the former model of a different material is bad business practice and should never be done. The buyer must be allowed to make informed decisions if they want to pay this amount for another material, especially PLASTIC.This product or practice is not worthy of the customer, in my honest opinion. When sellers ensure customers get what they pay for, they can keep their ratings AND their reputation! This didn't happen here. Not recommended.

Best loc tool for interlocking locs!
Ms. Doreen’s interlocking tool is amazing! My loctician was unable to keep my appt. for my sisterloc retie so I decided to do it myself using this tool - but the one for shorter locs. My hair is fine, and whatever tool my stylist was using was not effective on my hair. I was not happy with my locs.I am now happier being able to maintain my locs myself, and because of this tool I will have better results. So happy with this tool that I have both (short and long) tools in my arsenal! Thanks, Ms. Doreen! This is a winner! Best to you, Ms. Shepherd
