Horrible tool
Looks just like the picture. The issue is ZERO leverage. I can pull 90# and found it difficult to properly close the clamp. The cutting edge is also useless. I ended up using tin snips to cut one and a different tool to install a new one. Horrible tool.

Doesn’t make crimping larger clamps any easier
I bought these in the hopes they would make crimping one inch double ear clamps easier and boy was I let down. They are only maybe slightly easier than the standard non compounding ear clamp pliers. Still not possible with one hand and still very straining on your hands to get a good crimp. Keep in mind I’m strictly talking about one inch (37 OET) double ear clamps. Half inch was doable with one hand but not much more comfortably than the standard pair that are half the price. If you frequently crimp half inch and larger don’t waste your time with these. If you frequently crimp anything under that I would say they aren’t worth double the price of a standard pair.

Great tool, but will not work for the job I bought it for
Bought this to clamp the boots of the front CV axles on a 2004 Mercedes E500 4matic. The large clamp on the outer boot was under a lip of the joint, and I bought these pliers to crimp those clamps. The tool has a thick nose that wouldn't go under the lip. There wasn't a picture of the end of the tool on Amazon to let me know how this tool is configured. While unsuitable for my special purpose, it's a very well made and nice set of pliers. It was only bad info in the add that has me giving it 4 stars. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars if it worked for my purpose, or other purposes for which the tool is suited.
