Sonicwall TZ 205 TotalSecure (01-SSC-4890)

Have 3 Sonicwall units (2 - TZ205 & 1 TZ200) in place now, running VPNs around the world and working seamlessly. Goto unit for SOHO and even larger.

Set up wasn't easy but worth the effort. This seems to be doing a great job of protecting our office network.

terrific brand and product, works well and provides rich and powerful internet security services for network/internet connections. can add licensing for managed vpn connections. the totalsecure is a bundled software licensing and support contract for 12 months (first year of ownership), additional years can be purchased separately. sonicwall has GREAT unlimited tech support. different sonicwall firewall TZ-series routers have graduated services, with more expensive models offering faster speeds, more users etc. download the tz-series spec sheets and review features and specs carefully before ordering, and make sure you order a model that includes totalsecure bundle. there are newer tz-models now hitting the market, but if price is an important factor, this (older) model is still a great value with terrific features and functionality.

Our organization has used the Sonicwall TZ 200 series of devices as the data firewall for a set of branch offices. Once we became familiar with the characteristics of the devices, the consistency between the 200-205, 210 models has made it relatively easy to bring up new offices, to bring up VPN's between multiple offices, etc.

This was a great deal for our small not-for-profit. It was a reliable, out-of-the-box solution for what we needed. The transition from our previous TZ 170 went pretty smooth as well.

Everything is ok, license ok. Hardare ok, on time, great seller.
