This ice maker is the best we have EVER owned. The ice IS clear, tastes great and practically mass produced it. I have 2 problems though. #1: at least once every other day the ice makers continues to run water during the freeze time for the cubes. Henceworth, producing an inch thick block of ice that will only drop if the machine is turned off and the block can not be broken up by the metal scoop. #2: the block of cubes always need to be broken apart. (I've gotten lots of stabbing practice in. JOKING!!) Overall, I mostly love this ice maker. It was worth every penny.

Does exactly what it promises. Creates small, hard, clear ice cubes. The only reason I awarded it less than 5 stars is that the cubes come out more as a connected sheet than individual items, and need to be broken up to fit in most glasses. Still, you get what you want. A source of constant ice without needing to buy bag ice from the local mini mart. We typically run it for a couple of hours before we have company over and our ice needs are met. It’s a bit pricy, but it has worked very reliably in the 3 months since purchase.

I love my ice maker. I got tired of the ice maker in my fridge freezing up so I turned it off. I researched many ice makers on Amazon and decided on this one because I wanted one that made cubes instead of "bullets". I use distilled water which gives nice clear ice. The only thing I would add is a "water window" to make it easier to see the amount of water left. I was afraid the provided little plastic scoop would break so I got a small metal scoop that works perfectly to "chunk up" the ice.

I am 83 years old and this icemaker is too heavy for me to uncrate and put on counter. The ice cubes ever filled in completely ad there were scratches on the exterior casing. Took too long to produce ice. Had my grandson come over and recrate this icemaker.

I like the fact that the ice is clear and small cubes but, I hate that it comes out dripping wet and and in full sheets. I have to break each sheet that falls and when I want to take it out to store in my freezer it makes a mess dripping all over the place. I then have to not only clean up water that gets all over but also have to break it apart as it sticks back together from being so wet. I do not recommend this product if you don't want to deal with mess or have to break complete sheets of ice apart to fit it into a glass.

Had an Igloo bullet ice maker that worked good for about a year then the fill water lite would come on when it was full and wouldn’t make any ice. I read the reviews on this one and made the purchase. Was glad I did. Ice is clear and cubed. Cost more but very happy I made the purchase. So far so good. Takes about 15-20 minutes for large cubes.

This machine rocks. We've had it for a couple months and have had no issues. It makes tons of ice super quick. We are ice addicts and totally works for us. We just use jugs of water either from our filtered fridge or store bought,but you can hook it up to a water line.

Ice is clear and ample for drinks. Makes every 23 minutes and continues until basket is full or out of water. Perfect for small families needing or wanting extra ice; use in office, screened in patio, camp site, picnic area, anywhere you have electricity and access to water. I recommend this product.
