This is the best comforter I have ever owned, and it came as a pleasant surprise! I purchased it for our vacation home for an unexpected winter visit, I was just looking for something that could keep us warm but that was priced reasonably, considering we generally don't use this house during winter. As soon as I opened the package the first thing I notice was how soft the fabric is, it feels like raw silk of the best quality, it's matte white, and it looks so beautiful on the bed that I decided to skip the duvet. The comforter is extremely soft, light weighted and warm, I purchased a queen size and it's plenty big. I love it so much that I am going to order another one for my regular house to substitute the one I purchased from a well renown store. This is the first review I write for Amazon, although I purchase a great quantity of merchandise on line generally I don't write a review. I felt compelled to write a review for this comforter because if, like me, you make a purchase based on the customers' satisfaction you need to know that this is a 5 stars product, this comforter way passed my expectations.

So impressed by this down alternative comforter! I had real down comforters growing up and loved them, but in my teenage years I developed allergies that have progressively gotten worse. Having a real down comforter has no longer been an option for me in recent years due to the horrible allergens that come along with them, not to mention the feather leakage. I've purchased IKEA alternative down comforters in recent years and haven't been satisfied, so when I saw this on Amazon I thought I would give it a try though I was skeptical. The price was very low and the reviews were great... It's a cheap fake down comforter... how great can it really be?This comforter is AWESOME. It is VERY fluffy, luxuriously soft, quiet (no crinkly, scratchy noises from cheap rough fabric), warm but not too warm, and box-stitched to prevent the filling from shifting. Once removed from the package it fluffed up immediately and has stayed that way without having to constantly shake it and re-fluff it. Now instead of having a flat IKEA comforter, I have a fluffy comforter that makes our bed look great and so much more inviting. It is warmer than the comforter we had, and I do have to turn the air down a little lower at night (we live in Texas so it gets pretty hot here), but its not been too noticeable. I don't find this comforter too heavy - its just right. The one area for improvement would be to add loops to keep it in place inside of the duvet. I would also LOVE to see this made in a king size as I would purchase one for my mom.This is a great comforter for a really fantastic price. I'm apologizing in advance because I am going to write a novel here.So this comforter is probably one of the best things we have bought and I am mad that we didn't buy this sooner. I tend to always be cold. At night, my pajama outfit consists of a shirt, a sweater jacket thing (old lady department), shorts, sweat pants, and believe it or not, a soft scarf. I call it my night suit. Oh yes, my bf is so lucky to have me and my "sexy" night outfit. ;) ha.On our bed we had about 4 different blankets. Some of them were fleece and some were a wool texture type. When we sleep, we are pretty restless. We wake up randomly in the middle of the night and never get the deep sleep we need. Our bed feels hard at times and on my side the pillow is always wet since I take a shower before bed. And since my hair is wet, it causes me to be more cold. (that is why I wear a scarf.) Also, our blankets are always uneven since we are tossing and turning in our sleep. So we wake up randomly because the blankets are not evenly distributed.Well almost 2 weeks ago, I decided to try this out and purchased this comforter. HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! Our first night using this comforter was like...I don't know...a MILLION different heavens all smashed into one. We got rid of all the old blankets on our bed and only had this on our bed. When you get all snuggled in, the blanket has some sort of magic powers where it hugs you and gives you positive energy. It's like you're in this puffy, soft, cave and everything around you is gone. you don't think about anything other than how comfortable you are. I didn't even notice that my hair was wet! That first night, my bf and I passed out and woke up in the same position we were in. We didn't move once or wake up during the night. It gave us SLEEP. I even slept without sweatpants on and I was WARM. wha what?!So if you somehow made it this long into my novel, you are maybe asking...is it too hot for the summer months? Well let me tell you... I don't know yet! But I don't care! Because it's the best right now! Nights here have been roughly in the 60's. So it's not super cold or warm but I don't wake up sweaty at all. It's just perfect.Like I said, this blanket has powers and it will keep you safe from everything. Also! if you are cannabis friendly, this blanket is the best to be in after smoking. It's like a white cloud surrounding you with happiness and positive vibes. A+++++++++++Alright...I'm finally done. Thank you! :) :)
