Can’t connect to carplay
UPDATE: After I was able to update the software given to me by SYGAV Carplay works great! Would have given 5 stars, but you have to break off a couple of clips on the top of the unit to install, which doesn't seem like the best solution, at least on the 2014 Corolla*Can’t figure out how to get Apple CarPlay to work. “Zlink” is the app that makes CarPlay work, but it will not connect, just sits on loading screen

Impressed with this unit, then it went dark
Edit: after 5 weeks of use the display went dark and won’t turn back on. I am just passed the return window with amazon prime. Contacting the seller to see if I can get a replacement unit.Display is very crisp, the wired and wireless carplay work seamlessly with my Iphone. Backup camera is a little fuzzy, but better quality than the oem display so I am sure the camera is the limiting factor. Plug and play was super easy to install. I did have to break off two tabs on top of the new surround to clip into oem dash pockets. Would recommend 10 out of 10 so far

Android Auto keeps dropping out
*UPDATE 12/2/21* Android Auto keeps dropping out- Zlink app wont detect my phone or connect to AA. Connecting the USB cable does nothing either, AA just cycles on and off again. This is using my brand new Samsung S21+ phone. I had a few connectivity problems with my S9, but was able to figure out a workaround. For the price of this stereo, I dont think there should be so many complications with connecting apps. The only way I can solve it, is to factory reset all data- and this only lasts a week before the issue comes up again. Very disappointed, if youre not tech savvy, I suggest you save yourself the frustration of trying to figure out the quirks of this stereo. Or maybe Iphone works better, I dont know.
