This is a super-fantastic product!This my first ever light strip. I've wanted one for my 70" TV for over a year now. This is very user friendly to install. The built-in adhesion backing works surprisingly well. Even if you need to pull it back off to reposition it. The lights are amazingly bright! I have them dimmed right now while airing a sci-fi movie. It's alluminated in Red and looks fantastic! The colors are vibrant and true to color. I have not connected it to my phone app yet because that's not of priority for me. The ability to use the remote control is wonderful enough for me.The 5 meter (16.4 ft) roll fit my 70" TV beautifully with about 8" left to play with. I felt blessed that this entire project went so well, but it all comes down to the quality of the product. I will say that the remote only seems to extend its capabilities to about 8 ft.I installed the app, but only played with it for awhile to see how it worked. I was at first skeptical of this product, but I installed it not too long ago and it's been such a pleasure!Installing:The instructions are concise and to the point, which I really appreciated. Sticking and then connecting the lights to the outlet was very easy, taking about 7 mins as a whole.Lights:Something that I really liked about this product is that you can cut the cord to make it your desired length! Also, it has a small connection on both sides of it, in case you want to make it even longer and connect another strip of lights. It's not bulky or noticeable until you turn on the lights.The lights' brightness can be controlled, so you choose whether to have strobe disco lights that illuminate the entire room or just a subtle aesthetic in the background!Warning: Although for me it was no problem, you might want to know that cutting the lights from the main strip means they will need a separate adapter to power it. In case you need one, I suggest going to your local store like Target, Walmart, Michael's, etc.Controller and App:The controller itself is as pictured, and I just have it at the entrance for anyone to play with the lights. It has brightness, color, and pattern control. As for the app, it is available both for iOS and Android. It was installed in about less than a minute and I was immediately connected to the lights via Bluetooth. After that, you get lots of functions such as music mode, microphone, color selection, style, intensity, and you can even program them to turn them off and on at whatever time you come home! It's always nice to be greeted by pretty lights. I personally love that these lights use an app as well as a regular controller.

I have a big 65 inch television so I needed a long strip that I can put behind it. This length work perfect. It is pretty small and the self sticky tabs were great to put it behind the televisionI love that I can control it with the remote or with my phone using the app. It makes a really cool effect at night.My son likes doing one of the effects that synchronizes the lights with the sound. I personally like leaving it on one of the colors as a back way to the television while movie is playing. You can adjust the brightness up and down.These aren't that expensive and really are a great and fun effect. I would definitely buy again

I ordered the longer roll initially and it did not fit my room so I ordered the smaller roll to finish the job. However, the smaller roll is significantly dimmer than the longer roll. It’s not super noticeable with the general hue in the room but it’s a bit annoying because I’d figure it was the same product. Order two of the same if you need more is my suggestion. They both work with the same controller though which is good.

I needed an even wash of light to bottom light our office window decorations this past Christmas and this worked real well. With the downloaded app I was able to quickly pick a color, and both strands connected effortlessly to the iPhone version of the app. In the supplied photos, the blue light is what I used these LED ribbons for.Cutting the extra amount off each ribbon was simple and clearly marked. I had all the lights on a timer, and the ribbons retained the color settings everyday they turned on (without me needing to be there with the app) for about two months.Just a word of caution: While staging my decorations, I had plugged my LED strips in to test them before uncoiling them. Even though they produce very little heat when stretched out, when coiled they generate a fair bit and actually discolored the white laminate I had them sitting on. So don't do like I did! :D

This product so far has been fantastic. It's a real upgrade to my room and LED 65" TV which it wall mounted. I placed the LED light strip about 2-3 inch inwards on the back of my TV without any edge cuts to maintain perfect connection and just made a 1-2 inch curve which is sticking out but since on the back nobody will notice it. I had some left and either could make a turn to the middle of the TV but used one of the cutting marks to have a closed rectangle instead. The LED lights work well with the app eHome and the provided remote just make sure the antenna part is doubled taped at the edge of your TV or any place you have a direct view to it. I love the fact you can set any color and dim it to the brightness you like.

The lights came and installed very easily. Within one week of owning, part of the strip will only show the color blue, no matter what color is selected. Speaking of color selection... The remote is virtually useless, but the app that goes with the lights works very well in my opinion. I do feel that the lights have gotten a bit dimmer after about a month of use. If part of the lights didn’t crap out on me, I’d probably give this 5 stars.
