Good product; exactly what I needed to run a thick outdoor extension cord across a doorway. It is high quality and very flexible, yet durable. Low to the ground, so the door opens easily over it.

Comes rolled up, is quite flexible but not in ways that will harm how it works. And it works very well - can fit a wide range of cord sizes, lies flat immediately, has good ramps to keep from catching on shoes, soften any stepping on as it should. If you’re diabetic you know to be careful, but this is as good as it can get. The sense of it under strip rug crossing is just as it should be, well protecting.

D-line 6 ft floor cable cover--safety yellow color. Installing an ATT Internet Air device. & running cat-6 ethernet cable from the Device to my computer. First i was going to run the cable up & over the door. Then I decided to look at running it on the floor in front of the door. That meant the use of a a cable cover to protect the cable if someone stepped on it. I have dealt with inflexible, stiff not very useful cable protectors before but after research D-line promised a lay flat cable cover. It came coiled up & lay flat almost immediately. **It is a softer material--rather than cutting it I ran it up the side of the A/C & a little ways along the top. It should be fine for residential use but if I was going to use in a shopping mall or such I would do some testing. A stiff cable might force its way out of the cable channel underneath but it was fine for my Cat-6 cable. It lay flat enough that it did not interfere with the door opening. I ordered the safety yellow color but more colors are available. **I recommend this floor cable cover for at least low to moderate trafficked areas & up to at least Cat-6 cable. For stiffer cable or highly trafficked areas you might want to test it first.

I used Amazon product AI prior to ordering with the specific cord types and sizes. AI recommended this D-Line cable protector. My APC 1500 cord is rather thick and trying to add an ethernet cable and thin modem cable was just too much for the limited space. I tried working with it but the thickness and cramped space made the cables pus the protector upward catching on my feet and chair. I would say this would work comfortable with one large APC cord and a thin modem cord alone.
