I tend to look at 1 star reviews as they tend to be genuine. I was a bit concerned with people complaining about these belts breaking at the seam, sometimes within a minute, and sometimes for the whole set of 10 belts. I still decided to buy the 80 grits and see for myself. Well, so far so good. I am comparing them with 3M sanding belts and the quality seems to be similar (grit + durability). My lesson, for any sanding belt, is to not let them get clogged. I discovered Powertec's Abrasive Cleaning Stick, also sold on Amazon. It helps clean up the sanding belt. As a result, you get the abrasion you are looking for without needing to apply to much pressure, and you have less heating and therefore less tear on the belt. I will send an updated review if my experience with these sanding belts changes but so far I would recommend them in term of value.

Stained a bunch of cedar for a huge patio cover but it came out a wierd orange color. At the cost of cedar, I needed to sand them down and restart. The stain was still gooey but I couldn't wait. After gumming up and busting the belts I had on hand, I still had 40 boards to go. Based on some previous so-so reviews, I figured I'd need about a bunch of belts. So, I ordered 3 packs. Well these belts worked way better than expected - quickly ripped through the lumber. I had to swap/discard belts about every 4th board just cause they gummed up but no breakages. And, I still had belts left over from the first pack. I returned one pack but kept one pack for another future project. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. Sanding belts are meant to be expendable. Figuring about a buck per belt ...pffft! that's an easy offset for the time saved.

these are standard belts, as good as any big box, and a lot cheaper, they do tend to come apart when they get hot, I was pushing it harder than I should have though.

I go through these grit like water. No better or worst than others. Good value for money

They hold up well and don't come apart after a few minutes of use. I have several hours of use on the same belt and with a little cleaning, it sands like new!

Fairly durable, only one mishap which was probably me catching a screw head but they lasted pretty long with proper cleaning while removing old deck paint. Fit my belt sander as they should and worked very well.

For what I do they are good. If you use these for work, spend more money.

Very sturdy and works well. Exactly as expected. Would have preferred if it was roll for the purpose of my use. But I bought it knowing that it's not a roll so that's alright. Great product. Nothing bad to say.Oh actually, maybe a reusable pack to keep it in. There's many sheets in there. I don't know how to store them

bought these to use on my sander that just takes sheets (not a band sander).I cut these in half and they fit on perfect.made from good thick material not thick paper backing, very rough.

I bought four x 10-packs of these belts. I am using them on a Dewalt belt sanderThe first belt that I used seemed to last forever before it failed. The second one lasted a few minutes before it failed, with plenty of grit left. The third one lasted until I had to change it because the grit was worn off. AND! The next one failed again after a few more minutes than the second one lasted. So, there seems to be a lack of consistency in the manufacturing process.Overall, these are economical for my needs but not be suitable for professional users.
