I've become a big fan of Shark products. I have two Shark Rockets that convinced me (after many years of being a Dyson fan), so the addition of the Steam Mop made sense. I have laminate and wood floor throughout the house as well as three cats and not a lot of time or interest in spending my days cleaning compulsively.This steam mop makes what used to be a lengthy chore a pretty zippy task. It heats up super quick -- less than a minute -- and lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like to do: you can choose from three different types/levels.The reservoir holds enough water to make it through my entire house (ca 1,800 sf) TWICE! I do an initial go over; then I change the pad and do it again.All floors are squeaky clean in under an hour.There's no puddles of water since the mop does not eject water all over the floor.The lift-away function lets me clean the bathrooms--sink and shower/tub--without using chemicals.All attachments come on and off easily, and you have a ton of different tools for all sorts of cleaning jobs.One thing that's important: do use distilled water, no matter how good you think your muni water is.

Tip to get the best results from this steam pocket mop dampen the mop head with warm tap water before starting to scrub. I found it made a huge difference. do not get it soaking wet since the steam will also get it wet. but I think because it is already damp the steam has an easier time getting though. I use this steam mop at least once a month. It's a great way to clean the whole house without making a mess. I have also used the detachable unit to steam shirts and clean the showers and toys. I had a pretty messy spill in the car and was able to steam and vacuum the whole mess out fairly easily. I have nothing bad to say about this item.It's very versatile and pretty hard to beat for the price.I recommend getting extra microfiber pads as these get dirty pretty quickly, even if the floors don't look that dirty.

This is only good enough to wet clean your floor provided you don't have much to do. The steam is NOT hot, and runs out quickly. This sits in the back of the closet and never gets used because it's more effort to use than to just wipe the floor by hand. Only reason I gave it two stars is because it technically does work, it's just not worth the plastic it was molded from.

This product is exactly what I was hoping for. My tiles are white (why would ANYONE CHOOSE THAT COLOR) and it really helps to make the grime on the floor come right up. My husband always knows when I have used it when he gets home, because it makes the floor look that much better. If you have a dog, this is great for getting paw prints right off the floor. Also, I love it how the handheld part comes off and can get grime off of cabinets. I would buy this exact product again. I have had this for 5 months now. No regrets!

Much more efficient than the Shark pocket mop it replaced. You'll see the difference, There's much more dirt on the pads from our floors.( can you say dirty little tots?). I swapped my XL pad and holder for this products smaller pad and holder, this Shark has a continuousoperating pump to feed water to the pad and it keeps up with it. No handle pumping necessary and more durably built. I had two pocketmops over the years and the plastic handles always broke.Well worth the higher price. And it's detachable steamer does well with "tot"stains on our couches.

I am so disappointed in this product. I have had it now for 6 months and the ball inside the tank that allows the water to go through and produce steam gets clogged with what I assume is from the water. I have had to clean the tank out with vinegar just to get it working again. The pads leave streaks on my tile floors. A friend of mine had one just like it and her's didn't have any of these issues. It may just be mine, but I am unsure. I paid so much for this one, but I wish I could return it and try another one.

This is my second Shark steamer; my first one lasted about 8 years. I had this steamer for a little over two months and it stopped working. I contacted the seller, VMInnovations, and they responded very quickly and it was a pleasure to do business with them. My new Shark arrived just a few days after contacting the seller and it's working great. Thanks VMInnovations
