Big pictures …perfect!

Good learning tool.

My daughter loves this book. Perfect for a 3 year old. The pictures are simple to color and it helps to reinforce her letters.

My son loved this book! All the animals are really well done and he enjoys learning with the book.

Wonderful pictures, great little facts about each animal.Left hand side of the book gives the letter (the letters are all Capital letters, no lower-case.)Right side of the book gives the animal and a cute little factoid about said animal.I chose this book for my 1st grader, who has dyslexia, (runs in family) and needed more letter reinforcement and recognition in a fun way. She loves animals, and so I figured this could help in letter recognition.As another reviewer pointed out, this doesn't exactly follow normal phonics learning patterns for the little ones, and I can understand that, as I have homeschooled all 4 of my kids, and I know what order phonics are taught in.That said, this is not meant to be a phonics book, but a letter recognition book... but perhaps a fun activity to continue with would be to talk about OTHER animals that could also start with whatever letter you are on. For example: Giraffe starts with G, but so does, "Gator" or "Goat." G can have a soft sound like in Giraffe or a hard sound like in Goat.Just a thought!My animal loving daughter loves this book, and I do, too. A beautiful coloring book for little hands. The pictures are big making it easy for small hands to stay inside the lines.

Something for grandchildren to look forward to when visIting ; ystimulates conversation. Ordered three used and came looking like new.

This is awesome! My 3 toddlers love it and I love that it's all real animals and real facts so not only are they having fun, but learning too!

This book is cute, and great quality.
