I am the type of person who hates regular tap water. This water bottle eliminates that problem for me, as it filters everything.It is a nice aqua blue color that reminds me to drink my water for some reason, it doesn’t leak, and it’s a really good size. At first it feels a little difficult to pull from the straw because of the filter, but once I got used to it, it wasn’t that hard

I really wanted to like this bottle. If it worked, I was planning to buy one for my emergency go bag, one for the air travel kit (for using public drinking fountain water after going through the security line) - and possibly several more as gifts.I loved the idea of switching between a normal straw and the water purifier filter. The filter takes a few hard sucks to get started when it's dry but then works well. I used my well water which is tasty but heavily mineralized. The purifier did seem to remove minerals because the taste was much flatter. The flat taste of the purified water is OK since it's not for every day use.The next step was to throw the bottle in my bag and carry it around for the day to see if it's something I would want to use for emergencies or long trips.Cutting to the chase, the bottle leaked enough to flood my bag and soak through to flood the car seat. And yes, I double/triple checked to ensure the top was on properly and screwed on tight.<sigh> Did I mention I really wanted to like this bottle/purification system?

Item was delivered fully intact and the instructions were clear to follow. Haven’t used the item yet as I’m planning to use it for a future trip out of the country soon but as I said there are no damages to report so I’m sure it will hold up well.

The picture says it all. The black specks of dirt found in the bottle made me doubt its quality and i decided to return it.

At home, I drink filtered water from the refrigerator. A perfect, clean, odor and chemical free refreshing taste. I miss that at work because I only have water from the drinking fountain available. With this filtered straw water bottle, I get the same natural taste with no effort. This container holds enough to last hours, looks attractive, easy to clean and is light weight. And it even has a compass on top in case I can't find my way to the lunch room. I'm sure this would work well if you needed fresh water during a camping emergency, but quite frankly I'd have to be literally dying of thirst before drinking water that is not potable. This will pay for itself in no time if you find yourself constantly purchasing bottled water.
