Flashlight is bulky and heavy but very bright
I had a hard time fitting this on my lineman's hardhat. It fits best on a standard hardhat with a sound muff slot. It makes either hardhat I tried it on heavy on one side so I'm thinking of purchasing another to even out the weight. The light is VERY bright, and I'm satisfied with its operation. If you've ever been in a facility when all lights go out, this is the light to have.

I'm a longshoreman and this works perfect. Fits hard hat. Brightness is good. Good value. Not sure about battery life yet.

Good product. Make sure that you have right type of hard hat before buying.
Flashlight uses 3 AA batteries and as result a little bit heavy. So, be ready that hard hat will not sit level on your head anymore. It is small inconvenience but could be annoying for some people. Otherwise it is a good product and really helps during work process.

Beware of the switch.
I was excited to purchase this. I am a member of a Community Emergency Rescue Team and wanted this for my hard hat. The mount system worked great. The flashlight switch failed out of the box. It wouldn't cycle and turn the light off. I couldn't afford this given its use so I returned it.

So far so good.
No complaints so far. Haven't used the hardhat attachment but the flashlight itself is really bright. Don't know the durability yet as I haven't dropped or knocked it around yet.
