handles my widest skis
Handles my wide backcountry tele skis well. I use a shim to hold narrow XC skis. It seems sturdy, easy to use and works well. Seems like the most versatile choice for the price.

Awesome ski vise!
Very sturdy. Die cast metal construction. Rubber grips on every surface contact point. The rubber grips work so well, that if the top coat of your skis has a smooth, glossy finish you really don't even need to clamp them when waxing. Throat depth of the clamps that clamp to the table is about 3-3.5 inches, so they will clamp to almost any table.

Stable vise
The vise is stable and big enough to handle powder skis. Good value. I wish the height of the supports were adjustable (like the comparable Swix vise). When I am working my 5 yr old's skis, I can't really clamp the skis in the vise. For the money, I think they are a great value.

great for wide skis
A bit expensive but worth it. Sturdy, quality and works with 115 width

If you maintain your own skis buy these now!
This vise makes waxing and tuning both my narrow 83mm and wide 110mm skis much easier. Can mount on anything with at least 1in or so of a lip and the mounting is really solid. All 3 parts are light weight so and fit in any medium sized backpack for traveling. They seam build solid, not quite sure what kind of metal there made from. But there more likely to get broken from travel than actually using them. Hands down best skiing tool ive ever bought. WORTH IT!

Great vises that are. simple to use
These are the best ski vises that I have ever used. They are very robust and simple to use. The design is very well thought out and allows 3 to 4 different ways to hold your skis depending on the operation you are performing. They clamp solidly to the bench and are easily removed for storage when not in use.

Maybe I just don't get it
I may very well be missing something obvious but I really do not think much of this product. There are two end pieces which serve to orient the ski either flat for waxing, 30 degrees or 90 degrees for edge work. In the middle is a vice which I assume is meant to hold the ski firmly in whatever orientation you choose. It is a bit hard to explain but I found the vice completely useless. There is absolutely no way for the vice to grip the ski itself. If the ski is flat with the base up you can sort of clamp the binding but that is it. With the ski oriented anything other than flat/base up, you cannot clamp anything at all. Again a bit hard to eplain but the vice has no vertical or horizontal adjustment whatsoever. With the ski on edge, the vice does not even line up with the ski so there is no way at all to clamp anything. When waxing a ski the vice is not necessary. The rubber on the flat end mounts has plenty of friction to keep the ski in place. But when the ski placed on edge, the end mounts have large slots to hold the ski which are much too wide. They allow the ski to wiggle back and forth quite a bit which complicates edge filing. Forget trying to use this vice when mounting bindings. There is simply no way to clamp the ski at all. Again I may just be dense but the design of the vice just seems stupid. It is useless for actually holding the ski firmly in any orientation other than base up.Other vices have vices vertical/horizontal adjustment that allow you to line the clamps up with the ski in whatever orientation is required or have some type of clamping system on the end units to hold the ski when on edge. The seller was quite helpful in trying to sort this out but given the price, I saw no reason to keep this unit and returned it. The replacement vice I chose has all of the functionality this one lacks for close to half the price.

Well built
Very solid, used now for 3 sets of skis and four snowboards. A little pricey, but based on the build I am guessing this is the last set I will ever need.
