Canon - Ink tank black

Great ink but does it need to be so expensive
I won't use anything but Canon genuine inks anymore but to be honest they are a rip off in price. There are two ways to save money, one get other inks, but then not as good results.ortwo, print once or twice a week only. The ink is used up in head cleaning cycles rather then printing. So a printer that cleans the heads each time it turns on, means if you print seven pictures, one a day for seven days, then you have used up 7 pages and seven cleans while if you print all seven at the end of the week, it uses seven pages and one clean. Balance that with a pound for a page and £2 for a clean that means £21 the first way and £9 the second way. And yes, it does make a difference as I have been doing that for the last few months.

Canon original print cartridge mulyi-packs
What can I say? I've tried the rest but prefer the best - Canon originals - at this price, why buy anything else?Transaction was easy, delivery was quick, the cartridges ARE Canon originals and do what they are supposed to.Any savings made on no-name replacements I tried were quickly lost through wastage due to reduced print quality and shorter life-cycles, so I've come back to the Canon fold and simply looked for the best price I could - and here it is.

Canon ink is always good...
but the packaging...this supplier supplies the three cartridges without any Canon packing and loose in a jiffy bag. While they did arrive intact the jiffy bag had been slightly damaged in the post. Packed in this form there is a risk of the tanks suffering greater damage by our British postal system especially during peak traffic times eg Christmas.

Great Inks make my printer work better
I always use original Canon ink and hence my iP4000 which must be 10 years old is still going strong even though my wife uses it for printing 1000's of art cards she sells.

Packaging not great
The product was as described worked as it should and was promptly delivered. Packaging was poor.

Continuing satisfaction
I have been using genuine Canon colour ink cartridges since buying a Canon Pixma iP4000 printer in June 2005. Throughout that time I have had complete satisfaction with all of the cartridges that I have bought; and complete satisfaction with the printer.

The best product at a very good price!
The genuine Canon cartridge is much better than "pattern" replacements, and at this price is hard to beat! Yes you CAN buy the equivalent "other brands" cheaper, but they don't last as long, and will clog up your print head!
