Kiss My Face Pure Coconut Milk Soap Bar with Mango Butter, 3.5 oz, 3 Count

I bought the cocounut citrus soap and was wondering if I would find it too intense smelling as many others have stated. Also, I was concerned about it leaving my skin dry as others also have stated. Here is my honest review. First time trying this brand, as someone who has a VERY sensitive sense of smell I found these soaps to smell just great and also not too intense at all. It doesn't leave my skin dry but it also doesn't moisturize it a lot either. Mind you, I have dry skin to begin with and I live in the desert and it's summer. But hey, that's what lotions, oils and drinking lots of fluids are for. I like it a lot and would buy again, personally I wish it had more of a smell to it as I like that fresh smell in the shower when using scented soaps. Also note that many other reviewers mentioned burning and itching after using this soap. It's very likely due to the fact they may have an allergic reaction to coconut and not even be aware of it. I worked in the beauty industry for sometime and people sometimes had reactions to coconut based body products: itchy skin, rash, burning. It was obviously an allergic reaction so keep this in mind if it happens to you.

Great quality and fragrance, very smooth lather

I didn't do the most intensive research, but I wanted a more "natural" soap (yea, hard to define what that means) and saw this one had a good price and decent reviews so bought it. I like it! It foams up nicely, the scent is extremely mild, and my skin seems good (my skin is somewhat sensitive). I'm not a huge coconut person but not anti-coconut either, so I would say you don't have to be super into coconut to like this soap, as I alluded to, I barely notice a scent.

I have tried countless soaps over the years leaning towards the ones which do not have harsh chemicals and are castile (olive oil or plant based). The best I found were the pure olive oil soaps by Kiss My Face and Papoutsanis. However I was stunned with this soap. Why ? Because I thought that a coconut oil soap would not be moisturizing and may be drying compared to my favorite pure olive oil soaps. This works amazing for me. Moisturizes my skin leaving it soft, healthy, strong, elastic, and clean. This is by far my favorite soap now. You have to try for yourself though as soaps work differently on different people. This Kiss My Face set of soap was a good buy. The soap has a very strong citrus scent to it, you can hardly smell any coconut at all. That's good for me because my husband hates the smell of coconut and I was afraid he wouldn't want to use this at all. The bars of soap are an o.k. size, but could be bigger. They're a bit smaller than your average bar of soap (Zest, Dial, etc..) but also bigger than hotel soap. The package comes with three bars of soap. They come wrapped in plastic packaging, and when you open that, each bar is also individually wrapped in plastic. It smells nice and does what soap is supposed to do. I wouldn't buy this again, just because it's a bit too small. These would be great size soap for kids, but not for adults. I would recommend this soap to anybody looking to buy a small sized soap that has a powerful citrus scent and is cruelty-free. For now, I will stick with Yardley soap which is bigger and cheaper.

I have very sensitive skin and have issues with breaking out with certain products. I have used this soap for over a year and absolutely love it.

Wish I loved it but the scent and waxy-ish feeling it leaves on the skin after using leaves much to be desired. Will keep searching for a sensitive skin Soap

I thought it would smell like mango or coconut it doesn't smell like either one

I've been experimenting with different soaps, and this one is OK. It's harsher than some of the others I've tried, and dissolves quickly. You need to lather in your hands rather than using the bar to soap up, otherwise the bar disappears pretty quickly.The smell is citrusy, as expected, but it seems very artificial. I won't throw the other bars away, but I won't rush to buy another package either.

I love the product itself. Great vegan soap. I was looking for a vegan product to be more environmentally conscious but the product arrived all covered in so much plastic which defeats the purpose. Each bar was wrapped in plastic and then the three bars wrapped in more plastic. I will not purchase this product again until they use a more appropriate packaging. Very disappointing for such a good product.

I'm always impressed with Kiss My Face products. They really limit the amount of chemicals they include in their products and they're always animal friendly.The best part about this product line is that it's so inexpensive!This soap smells fantastic, too!It rinses off clean, doesn't leave a residue and doesn't leave my skin dry at all.

Wonderful lemon smell, good lather, great soap, cruelty-free as well as paraben and phthalate free. But I gave it only 4 starts because it doesn't smell like coconut and I thought it would because of the name...

Only reason I am giving this soap two stars is because it is lemon scented not coconut scented. The description and photographs say nothing about the scent being lemon and really one expects a coconut milk soap to smell at least a little bit like coconut. When it arrived the packaging was different than the one pictured and it says right on it that it is "Coconut Citrus." The soap might be nice, I never tried it, because the powerful lemon scent I smelled through the packaging made me return it.
