The Chakra Book: Energy and Healing Power of the Subtle Body Paperback – June 9, 2015

This book is practical, and truthful… giving different points of view and leaving it up to the reader to explore and discover for him/herself. I especially love how Osho explains different traditions and gives an open feeling about all, not making anything "right" or "wrong". His down to earth way of speaking takes the mental confusion away and leaves the reader understanding without becoming fixed or ridgid in ideas about the chakras. Beyond the information about chakras presented in the book, the emphasis is on awareness becoming bigger, which I feel was the whole point of exploration and discovery of chakras originally. Osho takes us back to the original purpose for the formation of the "map" of chakras. Thank you.

Very insightful book. It explains the spiritual / energetic components of life, connecting the spiritual dots. It also explains the chakra system in great depth. Highly recommended.

This book gives an in-depth view of the energy centers and a lot of info on the related esoteric andspiritual matters. The unique thing is the presentation in a very scientific and sensible manner. Veryunlike spiritual scriptures which have complicated jargon to explain things. I was intrigued to know thechakras through different schools of thought viz. hinduism, buddhism, yoga and tantra. Even christianityfinds its place in the world of chakras!!!And then the book turns to the contemporary explanation which is the running quality of the author. Theseven stages journey is of the fast asleep mind, unconscious mind, subconscious mind, conscious mind,sub-superconscious mind, superconscious mind and finally the no-mind.It was also great to know that how different religions are intertwined and share ancient knowledgearound the inner working of humans.The emphasis on knowing yourself rather than believing keeps you free from the imaginations and thus ican place the book as a true non-fiction work because it moves you towards experimentation and themethodology of it.I would highly recommend the book for people with some scientific sensibility around spirituality. Alsothe lovers of yoga can understand the system of chakras in a precise way and can use this knowledge intheir yogic practices. Couples can take clues from the tantra system for better understanding of eachother and bring meditative quality to their love. Women will find a great compliment in being a finecreation of existence!!!Each chapter of the book opens new dimensions around the chakras and though i can go on writing alonger review, i would rather suggest you to go through the book and find the aspect which may open anew world of inner growth for you.

I like the book . It’s a little harsh and I’m not fully certain I agree with 1/4 of what is written in this book . I feel like it should be taken with a grain of salt because there are so many interpretations of the chakra system you should truly only believe what feels right for you . Other than that I found it Interesting. I liked the way it he made you think critically and overall . Good read. And fast in my opinion

It is a wonderful book to learn about the energy centers, their location, purpose and potential, I loved it.

I've learned so many things reading this book

But still a great book if you can deal with Osho. At times a little too much but other parts were very interesting!
