They are sturdy and hold my hair well in a chignon. My hair is straight and medium thickness without too much texture. I will say the gold spines are not painted a uniform color and have some degradation marks. Also the black mother-of-pearl pin is a little misshapen where the spines are pointing together into a converging angle. This makes it harder to work into the hair a bit. The white pine is just fine. Very sturdy product and otherwise fits my purposes. I wear it to work alot and it keeps my hair up easily and conveniently while still looking polished, subtle and professional. (I work in a medical office)

These are super cute, I just have way too long of hair for them to work properly so I have to do two buns with both of them at the same time for them to hold up my hair. My hair is down to my waist but it is not very thick, so if you’re somebody with thick long hair this may not be enough to put all of your hair up

This was an impulse purchase and I am so happy about it. I was looking for a way to have my hair up that is not in a hair tie or clip. My hair is pretty long and goes to the lower half of my back. I love these! My hair is below the shoulder and slightly silky, and it is the perfect size and has a pretty detail to it.

They need to be way bigger and longer these are flimsy.

They do not hold the hair knot in place and keep falling out. They are more decorative than practical.
