OXO Good Grips Turkey & Roast Lifters

I have used these three times already for 2020's Thanksgiving, a December birthday roast and Christmas dinner (all heavy weight meats) and these have helped me so much with lifting the roasts and turkey out of the roasting pan onto a platter with ease. I have arthritis in my hands and it hurt very much when I used to try to lift a roast with two heavy duty forks all these years, before I got these lifters. Eventually I had to have my husband do the lifting it got so bad with pain and lifting it out. But now that I have these lifters, I am able to lift these foods without my hands and wrist hurting all by myself! I am able to drain the juices from inside the turkey without losing grip of the turkey or hurting myself. They stay inside where I have speared it with these prongs nice and strong. I am very glad that I saw these on Amazon and took a chance buying them! They are a lifesaver. I can get back to doing things for myself in the kitchen and doing the cooking like I love :)

I love these! They work like a charm, to pick up a roasting chicken and roasts! They are sharp and I love that they have covers for the ends, so you don't poke yourself! Super easy to hand wash also, I haven't put them in the dishwasher.

I use these for my Instant Pot turkey breasts and beef roasts. They are great! They don't hardly weigh anything and the curve is perfect to get the meat out of the Instant Pot. I can pick up the turkey easily and in the case of the chuck roast I can scoop it up without the meat falling apart on me. The only issue is the fork covers. They fall off easily in the drawer. I wish they would hold their attachment a little bit better. This issue is not enough for me to reduce the overall rating.

It works but a bit small, both the grips and the prongs. better for smaller ( <20lbs) birds.I expected a bit more stable and comfortable grip forks.Prong end protector is a nice touch

OXO didna good job on this one. Solid tines on the forks, excellent grips. I don't have to fish around for a couple of barbeque forks to flip a turkey on Thanksgiving or Christmas. It'll handle heavy birds or light, hams, roasts. It's a good tool set to have. Storage is a minor issue. Having 2 miniture pitchforks in the utensil drawer is a little awkward. But it's well worth it.

Took a while to find the best turkey lifters. These are sturdy, supporting the heavest turkey or roast. Well made into handles and the plastic covers for the sharp tines protect hands and fingers when retreiving from a drawer. I like it better than I imagined!

Lifted a large ham we baked for New Years. I was anticipating a wobbly transfer as I had experienced with another set I'd used years ago. Nope, these were secure and there were no scary moments going from the roasting pan to the carving board. I look forward to using these for holiday dinners in the future.

I bought these for my dad because he didn't have any utensils large enough to handle large roasts, and they've worked out perfectly. Every time I'm over for the holidays he makes a point to mention how perfect they are for lifting whatever turkey or ham he's prepared.
