A Must have for Demo...
When I ordered this hammer I was skeptical if I would like it because of the weight. Upon arrival I thought I had made a huge mistake in ordering it. The case was significantly larger then the case for the 26lb Demo hammer that I typically carry. Upon actually using the hammer all my fears were erased. Yes, The hammer is heavy at around 50lbs with the bit. This demo hammer has a great feel and balances well while in use. The shock absorbers are worth their weight in gold and save the beating your body takes. The hammer is easy to use and is surprisingly easy to control for its heavier weight. I primarily use it for demo or chipping concrete and the performance of this hammer justifies the price. It saves me a decent amount of time and for the professional is a must have tool.

Won’t break granite
It seems like a good machine overall. I needed it specifically to break up some granite rocks in my lawn that I want to remove. It’s not doing so well with that. I think this tool might really be just for concrete breaking and maybe some softer stone types.

I am quite disappointed that after about 30 hours of work the allen key bolts just keep falling out , even after replacing bolts same problem . very expensive hammer for such constant issues.

Just almost perfect
Just almost perfect for wacking hard stuff and digging ditches, etc. It is heavy but easy to handle. Vibration reducer is a great advancement over other models.

I’ve owned both the Dewalt 60lb and 40lb and I definitely prefer and would recommend this one.
