Great headset, affordable price.
After having purchased 2 other headsets, and returning both because they wouldn't do what I needed them to do I finally found this little gem of a headset. I'd wanted a good lightweight yet reliable headset that would work with Dragon, and this is it, in fact, I am dictating this review from this headset on Dragon right now, and the headset is performing flawlessly. But I would expect no less since Logitech makes great products. For dictation the headset mic picks up my voice without me having to raise my voice, and since it's wireless I can step away from the computer and wander around a little bit while I'm dictating my correspondence or a review such as this. I've also listened to music on it and while not as great as higher-priced headphones they will do the job if you want to listen to music from your computer and not disturb anybody else.As with most products today the headset is made of plastic, and while I've not had them long I expect them to hold up as well is all Logitech products I've purchased in the past. And as usual with Logitech products the set up was very painless using the included unifying receiver which recognized my Logitech mouse and keyboard as well, and did not have to download any drivers whatsoever to work with my Win 7 computer and Dragon naturally speaking. The instructions that come with the headset are minimal but all that you need, all the controls logically placed, which makes operation a snap, charging is done via USB as with most products today. The headset is adjustable and folds up for easy storage and can be worn on either side of the head. The unifying receiver can be securely stored in the headset to make it truly portable.

Mute Button on the unit !!!
For the money, this unit has everything I needed to work from home and be able to be on a cordless headset. This was my third try after an MPOW and some other thing that you could not mute on the headset itself. That doesn't sound like that big of a deal but it seems like most of these cheaper bluetooth units do not have a mute button or other basic features that are easy to get to. This unit also has a clear power off and power on button.....Again, seems like a no-brainer but not a given on some other cheaper models. If you are working from home and on conference calls all day like me, this unit will be fine....I normally use the mute function on the software itself but it is good to have mute on the headset just in case you walk away ....Also this unit has an audible ring when you mute it (or un-mute it)....Also has an audible tone when you power it on (and a green light). I have had no issues with battery life but be sure to charge it fully before you use it....run it down for several hours. ...and then fully charge again. That should prolong the life of the batteries. The sound is good for voice, but not great for music. Pick another set if you listen to a lot of music. This would work but not ideal. Can't beat it for $30!!!

Good entry level Wireless Headset
I've had it for about 2 weeks and it fulfills what I wanted from a wireless headset at a good price.Sound quality:+ Sound quality is quite decent. Sounds great for me as a non-audiophile.+ No noticeable delay. Sound seems to be instantaneous from my PC, whether I'm sitting next to my PC or on my bed.Wireless range:+ Clear sound quality up to about 15+ feet. I mostly use it either sitting beside my computer or from my bed, which is less than 10 feet away and everything is crystal clear. I could even use it from the room right beneath mine and could hear everything just fine.- At about 20-25 feet(1 room away), there is some slight but noticeable crackling and beyond that sound starts cutting in and out.Price:+ Cheap and from a reputable company. (I shied away from the Plantronics 995 headset because it doesn't work while charging)Comfort:- Headband is a little bit small. It is extendible, but even at full length, I can feel the top of the band touching my head. I do have a larger than average head though, so you might not have the same problem.+ However, after using for awhile, I found that it wasn't that bad for me either. Overall, it's actually more comfortable than my old pair which used to pinch my ears and glasses. I've worn the headset for probably 5+ hours at a stretch with no problems.+ The earphones are covered with a pillow cushion and can actually swivel slightly to account for ear shape, which I find makes it more comfortable.Build quality:- When you fully extend the earphones, the inner headband material is made of a pretty cheap/flimsy feeling plastic. Haven't had any problems so far, but I feel like I need to treat it carefully or I might twist off one side some day.- Buttons also feel a little cheap.Minor gripes:- Volume up/down buttons have to be pressed or held down to change volume. While it's not that bad, I would've preferred a dial or slider for faster volume changes. But at least they do have a way to control the volume from the headset itself.- Microphone could be positioned a little further out. Right now it's almost touching my cheek when I lower it.Note/Tip:If your headset refuses to connect to your transmitter, try downloading the re-pairing utility from the Logitech website for the H600. My headset wasn't connecting when I first received it, but the utility is easy to use and I had mine up and running a few minutes later. I once accidentally left it on overnight draining all the battery and it refused to connect, even while charging (with a rapid orange blinking light). Running the pairing utility again fixed it.Conclusions:Recommended if you're looking for an affordable wireless headset, especially if you don't intend to use it too far from your machine (say, within the same room). I was worried at first due to reports of crackling sound quality but for my use I haven't noticed any. Plus, I decided to gamble a little because Logitech does have a pretty good reputation when it comes to customer service. And it paid off, all in all a good purchase.
