I got 12 plants and am well pleased with the germination. In the fall I put the seed in a large pot lightly covered with old pine straw mulch over top. Placed the pot outside and left it alone except light water if dry. In the late spring the plants came up.

I was a little hesitant to buy these, as I had recently purchased elderberry seeds elsewhere, and wasn't impressed, however, they were sealed inside a plastic bag inside the seed packet to avoid moisture damage. They look to be viable, and come spring, I'm hopeful to have some beautiful new sprouts along my garden path. Thank you!

I got the elderberry seeds in August as I was hoping to have sprouts by fall and plants I could put in the ground by spring. I could not get these to sprout for my life! I tried the directions on the package but they just never grew. I am so disappointed! I have put so much time and energy into trying to cultivate these elderberries and it’s just not paying off.I would not recommend anyone to buy these, they’re just a waste of money and time.

Well packaged. Clear growing instructions. Seed are well cleaned. Lookinf forward to planting two to three hundred in my 20 plus chicken padocks this summer. I guess I'll have to put little fences around each of them, hadn't thought that far ahead.

Elderberries have always been a passion of mine. In the magical world of gardening and potentially growing Elderberry trees it is very exciting to have my order processed efficiently and caringly. I have followed the instructions on the packaging(which are unique in themselves) and the experiment begins. Kind of like so many other things the anticipation of the possibilities is worth every cent of the price.

Was able to share with a friend, waiting till fall to plant and hopefully next year making elderberry jelly.

I haven't planted yet but let me tell you I recommend highly this is the first company I've seen that has included each process for planting . how the germination process works I would have blindly planted . thanks for fast shipping and a quality product.

Very disappointed, I don’t know why companies tell people they are selling more seeds than they actually package...then on top of that, they haven’t sprouted at all...I can grow almost anything and I have a greenhouse...I love growing plants and vegetables....don’t waste people’s time,if you aren’t going to send the right product or they are dried out,,,,,
