They work great, have decent sound, and most importantly, fit a kid's head. It also can stretch to fit my giant adult sized watermelon head, so the headphone has a wide range. So far, it has lasted many roadtrips and as much abuse as you can think a 5 year old can dish out on headphones. The only gripe is that the battery compartment cover pops off easily, resulting in batteries being lost. This was easily fixed with some electrical tape, but annoying, nevertheless. So far battery life is pretty good; I've only changed them out once in the past 4 months.The best thing about these headphones is that you can buy a male-male audio cable and these wireless headphones can be plugged into whatever handheld gaming device your kid has. So, if they don't want to watch the DVD, they can plug the headphones into their handheld electrical device du jour and listen to that racket through their headphones. End result: the Mrs and I can listen to what we want, the kiddo can listen to what he wants. Makes for happy road trips. Although it still hasn't eliminated him asking "How much longer?"

Used to make a 13 hour drive to and from New Orleans and they were great! Good sound, love side volume control, easy on/off for our 5 year old to handle...Since we returned from N.O., they arent working anymore. The light comes on to show the battery is fine, but cant get any sound to come out...They worked great initially, but cant figure it out now. Not sure we would order again.

I had owned a previous version of headphones made by this company that fell apart after one year. These updated, colorful headphones are much better quality in construction. The sound quality is very good for the price, and the ear cups are padded and comfortable. I actually like them better than the stock headphones that came with our van. Being able to get these in 3 colors is great, so each kid is responsible for his/her own headphones, no fighting over them.These are much, much less expensive than trying to get them from the Honda dealer.I use them in a 2004 Honda Odyssey with rear entertainment system. They work right out of the box, just put in the AAA batteries and turn them on. Batteries last a 12 hour drive trip no problem, as long as they aren't left baking in the sun in the van.Now on my third set of headphones for the van, I now don't leave them in the back seat pockets anymore, because the power buttons get pressed and the batteries run out, and the heat and humidity in the parked car in summer time ruins any headphones. They all say "auto power off" after a few minutes on the packaging, but if they are left in the van the batteries on these kinds of headphones are always dead when you want to use them.

Returning this item. I didn't know much about IR headphones, turns out there is a degree of reception that it will pick up a signal. Bought these for my Cadillac Escalade. They were working intermittently at best, neither my husband or I could get them to connect after a while. Purchased a different pair at Best Buy ($30) which have a 270 degree reception and an A or B band. The new pair work great, every time. Don't recommend.

We got these to replace our old set that came with our minivan. They are hit and miss reliable. Fit well and seem to be made okay.

I ordered these for my kids, we have an 03 Tahoe and only one of the factory headsets was working for the Dvd player. I saw these and I know the reviews were up and down but I am so glad I bought them. They are so easy to use, all I did was open them out of the package, you slide the side open on the left side of the headset and pop in 2 AAA batteries, I walked outside started up my Tahoe sat in the back seat and just turned them on, whala! They were working perfectly. On/Off switch is push button and volume is right next to it very easy to adjust while wearing them. They were a bit small on my head but will fit perfect for my kids they are 11 and 12, If your on the fence about buying these jump off and get them, well worth the money, the only draw back was I wanted to get 2 different colors but they wanted so much more for the green one so I just stuck with buying 2 of the blue.

Good headphones,pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. They do seem flimsy so i dont know how they'll hold up over time with the kids using them,but what does these days. Sized well for kids and adjust well for adults, very little static and the sound seems good.I would of liked the max volume to be louder, but you can still hear the movies clearly even with the radio playing in the car. Ear padding is soft and comfy. Start up is simple just install batteries and your good to go. If your looking for a cheap replacement with a more than good enough quality sound then look no further.
