This thing is like a tank. It's on the big side and a bit heavy but I don't mind about that, I just wanted a case that would protect my phone. I haven't tried out the weather resistant side but I can see how this would hold up to a getting splashed or rained on a bit. I wouldn't try to take it swimming or dropping it into the toilet because it's not 100% sealed. There is a small opening in the back for the camera and flash along with easy access to the power and headphone jack.It fits snug and has six small screws that bolt it together. No more breaking nails trying to get a case open or worrying that your going to break the case when you actually need to open it. I haven't had any of the screws try to back out on me either.The phone sounds fine with this case on, I really can't say I notice a difference.The glass on this case is very reflective and shows every fingerprint. So far I haven't had any scratches and I've owned this case for a month or so.I'm not really careful with my phone and have dropped it a time or two..three.. something like that. The case shows a few small (you have to look for them) dings where it's hit something hard but the paint has held up really well.Overall I would say this is a great case. If you don't mind the size or extra weight I'd recommend this to anyone and everyone.

If you are looking for a super tough, no nonsense tank of a case for your precious little 5c, this is it. I had the previous version for about 9 months before one too many hard falls cracked the glass. I still used it for a month with no problems. For $17 you can't go wrong. The home button did bed to get glued back in and the audio port cover eventually stopped closing all the way. But those minor things were to be expected. I don't waste time writing reviews, but this product is really worth it. So from the previous case to this one they made changes to everything I didn't like. No labels, no "love mei", the red audio tab is darker and cooler looking, they've included extra protection around the lens and flash and a mesh cover for the microphone, it's slightly thicker and lighter and the phone sits in there better with no pull down or distortion of the case due to tightening the screws. All around for 11.60 you really won't ever find a better case. I'll buy another Asap to have on hand. STOP LOOKING FOR A TOUGH CASE! THIS IS IT.

Everyone's right,the case makes the phone 3x heavier almost to the point it's to heavy to hold to your ear any length of time.It also adds about 2x the size. Pros great military look it looks like special ops, touch screen is still sensitive with no issues going to apps,easy install one finger easily manipulates the "wrench" & loosens/tightens the screws.The back is solid so u won't see apple logo on the back of phone ( some kids like everyone to know they have a iPhone) . If you are going to use it at the gym for your music play list ,wait to buy your armband AFTER you put the case on because it will be a lot larger and only fit one of the large IPhone 6 cases.

This case is great and is very sturdy. Is much heavier than usual cases. The only thing I have a problem with is I can't use my aux cord with this case or headphones. So this phone is great for those who drop their phones a lot, but you might have trouble being able to listen to music.

I like this case but understand this is both heavy and wide compared to your standard light weight snap on case. There is no way to know just how much punishment this case could take on it's way to protecting your cell phone but from close examination of it's design and construction I'm guessing it's as tough as it is cool looking. The case surrounds your phone with a thick (9mm) silicon type rubber. Then sandwiches it between a high impact (their words not mine) bezel. They don't say what the bezel is made of but I'm guessing plastic. Speaking of cool, the photos of this case don't do it justice. I purchased a black case and I have to say it's got a kind of slick, military, black ops kinda vibe going. I would have given this review 5 stars but like others who purchased and reviewed this case it had one small drawback. It's supposed to come with a small hex key/wrench (1.5 mm) so you can remove the 6 tiny screws that hold the case together. Alas there was no such tool included. Why this company has such a hard time including such an essential tool is beyond me. The thing you'll notice most about this case is it's weight. Once installed on my iPhone 5c it felt twice as heavy (no I did not weigh it) that's just how it felt to me. But unless your a complete weakling that shouldn't be a problem. It's fit and finish are tight. I thought this was a great case for the price. I did however have some concern about the tiny screws that hold the case together. Mainly stripping the tiny heads with the hex key/wrench i used. If you did strip one of those screw heads you'd have a fun time getting the screw out. I was very careful taking them out and putting them back in. Inside the packaging they did include 2 additional screws. May-be I'm on to something? You might not want to crank down on those when you but them back in, I'm just saying. All in all I like this case just fine. I'm interested to see how it holds up over the next year.

These are great. My husband really likes them and they have protected his phone. I say "they" because we are on our 3rd one. That said- they do work very well. My husband is incredibly rough on phones and cases, but since buying him one of these, we have had no problems. Eventually though, he managed to shatter the gorilla glass by dropping it on bricks. That iphone screen however, was perfectly fine, so we reordered. The second one, same thing. He eventually destroyed the gorilla glass but again, Iphone- unharmed. So we are on the 3rd now and will continue to buy them. For $10 bucks, the fact that it has saved his iphone from water, dirt, mud, and drops from 6feet on countless occasions speaks volumes about how good of a buy this case really is. We bought a more expensive version of this once, but this works just as well! I highly recommend if you have a man who manhandles his phone!
