Excellent value, sturdy, bigger than I expected, and heavy.
As the old saying goes, "Light, Cheap, Durable - you can only pick two." I love effects pedals and I'm a bass / synth player. I needed something big that I could wire up once and not have to take 20 minutes to re-wire, as I have a Boss RC-300 Loop Station, a small Soundcraft Notepad124FX 4-input Audio Mixer with Effects, A Roland GAIA SH-01, and Akai Pro MINIAK Virtual Analog Synthesizer with Vocoder that I sometimes bring to a rehearsal/jam. Sometimes I wish I'd just stuck with the mouth harp, but I love tweaking pedals and shaking the floor. I already own two of the Odyssey cases for 37-key keyboards:Odyssey FZKB37 Flight Zone Universal 37 Note Keyboard Ata Case and so I know what kind of quality to expect from Odyssey. I find that I like the foam rubber material in this pedal case better than the foam in the keyboard case. This rubber is much more sturdy. The keyboard case foam has more bubbles in it and scratches easily. There is egg-crate foam on the top of the case as well. There is a compartment on the side for cables and other accessories. The joints and braces on my case are put together well with no sharp edges. This is a very heavy case, and the wheels are a very welcome addition - My 37-key keyboard cases did not have them. The pedal board is very basic, and you may opt for getting a Cabinet Pull like this:(Amerock TEN26201-G10 Essential'z Collection Pull Arch Center to Center, Satin Nickel,3-Inch, 10-Pack) of your choice to add handles that will aid in the removal of the board from the case. I don't see how anyone would be able to remove a fully-loaded board from this case, as it is a tight fit in the case. This case seems to have followed the design of the keyboard cases, since a lot of pedal board cases are actually made to where the shorter top of the case is actually on the bottom, so you can just lift the top off and probably not even have to take out your pedal board. My board had some paint chipping on the top edges which I attribute to shipping. For me, it's not a big deal as I'm probably going to cover the board with indoor/outdoor carpeting or cut up a door mat. I haven't seen how much velcro is included, but you can see that there are two rolls, one for "hook" and the other for "loop" in the accessory compartment. I have not tried attaching the included velcro, so I cannot attest to the quality of the velcro included in the case. The pedalboard is decent for me, I wish it had some slots where I could run some cable, but I can always make a new board. I bought this for the case. Unfortunately, I waited too long to buy this and had the price go up from $149, to $158, and then had to pay sales tax since Amazon settled their case., so boom, $171 dollars later and here we are.I bought this board so that I could have a pre-wired unit I could bring to rehearsals and cut down my time on loading. I will upload a picture of all my pedals with the case and you'll see that I still cannot fit all of them on. As I told my friends, "this case is bigger than I thought it would be, but at the same time smaller than I thought it would be." I was hoping to fit the RC-300, my small mixer, and all the pedals I wanted into this case, but this is not going to happen. Of course, I could always get rid of the accessory compartment and make a bigger board. Maybe I'm just destined to get a rack. It would certainly take up a smaller footprint.Bottom line: This is a great case for the money you pay. It's a very large case. It is taller than many other pedal board cases as well - I wasn't expecting this to be roughly the same size as my keyboard cases. This is a heavy case, but at least you have wheels. Before you get this case you need to consider a few things like, "do I really need a case this big, will this fit in my house/studio, will this fit in my mode of transportation?" I have three Odyssey cases now, I think I can create my own keyboard stand/table or fort from these things.

Heavy, but very secure.
Pros:-Durable, tornado proof case. I'm sure I could drop this down a few flights of stairs and everything inside would be fine.-The pedal board inside is slightly slanted, which I very much wanted.-Comes with enough velcro to mount your gear down. And the velcro can be removed from the pedal board without leaving behind any glue residue. (this is a major plus for me)-Plenty of room on the right side of the case for cable storage/other guitar accessories.Cons:-Heavy with gear inside. Like, 70+ pounds with my gear.-Unable to carry for long periods, because of its weight.-The wheels on the bottom are pretty much worthless, unless you're inside and there are smooth flat surfaces. They are made of plastic and not rubber. So gravel and concrete/cement will ruin the wheels and the bottom of the case... almost instantly.-Did I mention it was heavy?Overall, I'm pleased with the case and I'm going to keep it. I just wished it wasn't soo heavy... and that the wheels were slightly bigger and made of rubber, not plastic.

Inexpensive but well built. Pedal board leaves much to be desired though.
The actual case is a monster and very well built but also very heavy and large. My pedal board is pretty big and this was the only case I could find that wasn't super or expensive or needed to be custom built that would fit my board. I didn't need the board inside and I contacted Odyssey about getting the case without the board but they said they couldn't do that, so yeah I had to pay for a board I'm not going to use anytime soon but that was okay because this wasn't that expensive. The board would be a huge pain to use if you were going to use it though. It's pretty heavy on it's own and if you add in the weight of the pedals it would be nearly impossible to get out of the case because there is barely enough room around the edges to get your fingers under the board. You can't use your pedals on the board if it is still inside the case because the front side comes up too high and the top doesn't detach. The only way I can see to make the pedal work is to go out and buy some strong metal handles and attach them to the sides so you can just pull the board straight up and out of the case by the handles.

You won't find a better value anywhere.
Pros: extra heavy duty hardware, latches, handles. Fits Pedaltrain Pro, and seems identical in construction to the OEM Pedaltrain hard case. I repurposed the aluminum tubing from the included board to add height to my Pedaltrain Pro board.Case dimensions allow just enough depth even with the modified board with careful placement of pedals. Thick pedals like the EHX Hog2 are too tall for the back row. The wheels work great on smooth surfaces. Exceptional value, especially with free shipping.Cons. MORE height to accommodate tiered pedalboards. Ok, is that really even a con? Probably not.Suggestions. The wheels could be larger, and rubber IMHO. The hard plastic wheels won't last long on concrete and asphalt and are very noisy on rough textured surfaces. Drag strips would be a nice addition to protect the edge and corner hardware on the bottom of the case, especially on stairs, rather than the rubber feet, which get hung up when pulling the case up stairs. Yeah, I'm lazy like that with a 70lb load.

With great sturdiness comes great heaviness. - George Washington
I hope you're in shape to carry this thing. It is like carrying Andre the Giant by his leotard. That said, it protects the crap out of my pedalboard. I used it for my pedaltrain. Having the pedalboard that came with it is nice in case I need a backup, or can sell it to recoup some of the costs. It's a great heavy duty case. I do wish the wheels were a little better. I'm not sure how long these ones will last, being that they're a plastic of some sort. Rubber or poly something would have been better. That's my only gripe.
