5-year old loves it - great dry or wet toy
The Octonauts have long been a favorite in our family - from my 8-year old son to my 7-year old daughter to my 5-year old. I bought this for the 5-year old and got a really good deal (Amazon Warehouse - yeah!) and it was brand new, no damage outside of a little crumpling of the box itself. My 5-year old loves it. Very sturdy, nothing to choke on, and makes a great around the house toy or you can also put it in the water for bathtime enjoyment as well.

Great....loud, but still a great toy!
My son loves this toy! It is a bit on the loud side. I think it would be great with a volume/off switch as it is pretty sensitive to movement causing the skins to activate the antenna on top. You wouldn't want to pack it in a bag for instance. But overall a really fun toy!

Be warned: it make a lot of noise.
Be warned it makes lots of noise. We got this as a Christmas gift for a niece. I'm dreading the retaliation next year. We didn't realize it made so much sound when we bought it.

but the "mouth" on the front of the Gup looked like it had been burned
5 year old son loves Octonauts and was so excited to add this Gup to his collection! For some reason, ours was new in the box, but the "mouth" on the front of the Gup looked like it had been burned... my son didn't mind but i'm a little curious how that happened as the packaging was just fine...

Great little toy!
Great little vehicle. The boys love playing with this. Also love watching their favorite show Octonauts.

Fantastic!
I think octonauts stuff generally is a bit pricy, BUT.... I gave this to my son for Christmas and I need not have bought anything else. He hasn't put it down.
