Q: What size circuit breaker should be used with these to avoid burning them up? My battery charger has a 50 A position that fries them every time

It would be helpful to have more information about your charger. How many diodes are on the rectifier? Does it work at lower settings? Do the diodes short immediately on the 50A setting, or does it take some time? Is there a breaker in the DC circuit now? All of these come into play. Any of these could cause the diodes to short - too few diodes, breaker rated too high, no breaker, or the worst offender of all - using a charger with a "boost" position for more than a few seconds while trying to crank a vehicle with a dead battery. To try to give you something, a small 10A charger with a 50A boost position will usually have a minimum of 4 25A diodes, and a 20-30A breaker. A larger 40A charger with 150A+ boost will have a rectifier with 6-8 25A diodes, and a 70-90A breaker. A professional grade shop charger rated 40-70A and 250A+ boost will have anywhere from 10-20 25A diodes, and 100-150A of circuit breaker capacity (sometimes spread across multiple, parallel breakers). We upgrade to these 50A diodes to provide additional capacity and resistance to abuse. I would suggest that you call PLP Battery Supply at 800-642-3451. Q: How is polarity marked on these diodes?

I don’t remember off the top of my head. But most multi meters have a diode test function that will answer your question.

Q: Will these replace w9032?

It appears that a W9032 is an axial schottky diode. If so, it's really nothing like these diodes.

Q: Will these work to replace a w9225

Our 696040-xx doides are button diodes and have no leads off of them. Also they are rated for 50 amp. The w9225 looks like a canister shape with leads off of them. Not sure of the rating.
