I've been ordering supernight LED products for nearly a decade and recently bought this pack to add some lighting to an exterior patio, expecting the usual super-bright and dense strips - usually about 60 LEDs per meter, or 300 PER STRIP. This pack is 300 LEDS split across BOTH strips, so about half as bright as the other '5050 16.2ft LED 300 pcs' strips offered at nearly or exactly the same price when bought individually.In fact, if you look at the product information on those other strips, this same company even brags about competitors using this very configuration and how weak it is compared to their 60/m strips. Upon closer inspection of the listing, it does say these are the less-dense strips, howeverm you wouldn't know unless you're very familiar with these products. I suspect many customers never even realize there are brighter strips available for the same exact price from the same company. Fortunately this is a project for a friend who doesn't mind, but buyers beware - this kit is sub-par. Buy brighter strips and the controls/power supply individually and get a better experience.

The adhesion as awful. Seemed fine at first but fell off the wall entirely within an hour. Easy but time consuming fix is using 3M double sided sticky tape and cutting to fit. I ordered a complete set and 2 reels of lights only to complete my project. The end connections were different. The full kit had the standard 4 pins and the other tells had a 5 pin connector. Nowhere in any pictures or descriptions was this specified. Same packaging and description contained 2 different end connections. Beware. Other than that you can’t beat the setup for the price. I’ve had a set on the exterior of my camper for a few years now with virtually no issues. I would recommend these but just beware when ordering extra single reels.

I've been enjoying these kind of lights for a while now. They are all over my house. Ordered this one because of a 10M length and I'm delighted as expected. The LED colors and brightness is awesome and remote control of course makes it the most comfortable use. But what I liked most is that the power gateway unit on this one does have two different outputs so you can attach the two strings as separate.

It works alright. The remote is really janky, as in it isn't actually solid. You can lift up the top part where it has each button labeled and you can see the circuit board underneath. I'm not sure how long this remote will actually last...The lighting is okay too... I've definitely bought better brands, but the object functions? Just really cheaply made. And yea, I totally wouldn't submerge this stuff in water or even put it near where water will consistently be splashed upon it.Food for thought!

At max white brightness, power adapter is cool even after 30mins. no smell or anything. with that light output, even the reel of led light is getting warm. very good.IR remote works. but buttons does not auto repeat. i.e. Cannot hold down button continuously to dim the light but to repeatedly press button.Do not know how well sticky backing working yet.Pretty strong smell from the strip light itself. Need to air it out before use.

I had great luck with three strip kits from LED Wholesalers. However, Amazon suspended selling these, so I tried this brand. What a mistake. About 20 minutes after I installed the lights over my pergola, the power supply made a strange clicking noise and died! So I'm stuck with buying a replacement transformer.Also, I don't think the extra white light adds anything ... on my string it just washed out the colors. Perhaps others found the additional white lights useful.

The colors are clear and bright when looking at it. It is not adequate for bright down lighting. I had hoped to use it as undercounter effect lighting. It would be adequate for mood lighting such as along a sofit or along a back splash, but it is not bright enough to illuminate a surface such as a counter top under cabinets.Remote works well at close range.Overall I like the item and it will work for effect lighting.

Had 3 dead LED's in red mode on arrival, but I was cutting this up and using it in sections for under cabinet lighting so it did not bother me too much. However, it only goes to show that the quality is not very good, nor consistent, because the previous set I bought ( same exact) that went around the entrance door frame were perfect and still work fine.
