Good ethics book with prompts to make you think about the content.
I used this book in my second college ethics course and I can say it is much better than the book that was required for my first course. I like the prompts inside that get you to think about the content and the "key points" that summarize every chapter. It has a helpful glossary of terms and the index in the back seems very thorough and makes it easy to find necessary information in the book.

A lot of pages are not even attached to the book.
I just got this book in the mail yesterday. So I have not read it yet. But this rental has not been taken care of very well. Pages 1-52 are not attached to the book at all.

Personal politics embedded in text
This book is used as a text book for a BSN program. The author's personal politics should not be embedded in the context of such a book. The author insinuates that President Trump and his administration are responsible for inaccurate or incomplete information regarding immigrant children. Children entering our country illegally is a major problem. It is a complex issue that can not be corrected simply by saying they should stay with their parents or let's build them shelters. Many, many of these children are being trafficked. Many, many of these supposed "parents" are not parents and are part of an even larger issue. I wish the world was filled with rainbows and butterflies and we could simply say, "yes, all please cross our borders and we will take care of you!" Look at the disaster at the border now! Our country is in danger and that means our children and immigrant children are in ever greater danger! Pat answers and finger pointing are not solutions. I am extremely dismayed that this diatribe made it into our textbook.

The book will be great, the LIE was not
When I purchased this book I was told that it was new. It came to me looking a bit used and as I was removing the price stickers I found underneath a sticker that said “used-very good…”. I don’t mind used textbooks, but I don’t like being lied to. I was unable to purchase this book on campus this semester, but I will definitely be doing that from now on. Anyway, good book, bad business. Thank you.

Used but acceptable
I needed this book because it was required and never ended up reading it or needing to for the class. I did reference it a few times to follow along with one of the hand outs and it did have good organization of ethical principals and detailed examples of situations

Costly
Good book, but costly. Not sure why tuition and books have to be so high.
