Geodes are small agate nodules with a crystalline interior. They form as cavities inside hardened volcanic or sedimentary rock, when groundwater minerals seep in to grow crystals. Agate tones and strengthens body and mind, as well as imparting a sense of strength and courage. It enhances creativity and stimulates the intellect. Agate is calming and soothing, and can dispel feelings of jealousy. These incredibly beautiful Brazilian agate geode bookends have been dyed a bright blue, and have been polished along the 2 cut sides to show off the beauty and depth of the agate stone. The bookends are matched pairs, cut from the same stone. Each bookend measures between 5 and 6 in tall, 3 to 3.5 in wide and 2.5-3 in deep. They weigh approximately 2-3.5 pounds apiece. Since these geodes are natural rocks, taking millions of years to form, there will be slight differences in size and shape from the ones pictured.

meh? They're ok but I'd buy it at a store to know what you're getting.
I'm giving these three stars only because of their coloring and crystalization. They don't come close to resembling what is pictured. The picture is of a very nicely developed geode. These? Not so much. There is little coloring within the rock and crystal development isn't at all what you would expect.The weight is good for these but I would have expected something at least somewhat closer to what is published in the pictures.
