Great tablet mount
Adjustable for perfect fit for Fire 8" tablet as well as standard iPad, and the mount stays out of the way of the camera lens and edge controls. Sturdy adjustment knob allows securing tablet in padded grabby bits top and bottom, though perhaps not accommodating all pad cases. Metal thread insert enables secure mounting to standard tripod thread mounts, making it easy to integrate onto more complex rigs.If you are mounting this directly to a tripod, make sure you use enough tripod - the little cell-phone tripods can be too tippy with the weight of the tablet plus the minor incremental weight of this mount up high. The plastic is sturdy and the design has appropriate reinforcement built in, but it's not machined titanium, so if abused the plastic could break. It's also not $500, so if crew with baggage handling experience does break it you can afford a new one.Highly Recommended.

Better than a spring clamp option by a mile
I can verify that this works with the smaller iPad Pro and a Tab S. The j hook arms adjust and then lock down. This is better than spring loaded clamps that puts pressure on the tablet and create a risk catapulting the tablet out of your hands it your grip slips. The larger foam pad comes off if a thicker case is used and you need the room. That is a good thing. If it comes off with a thin case setup, double stick tape solves that problem. Sure it is plastic, which is crap, if it was metal it would cost $4000 dollars. The plastic seems OK by plastic standards, which is an oxymoron. Fits my standard tripods with no problems.

DSLR Monitor Mount On Tripod
Works like a charm. I'm using this mount on a tripod for my Galaxy 10.1 tablet, and I sometimes switch to my 8.3" LG G pad X tablet, in which case this mount fits both. I use either tablet as a monitor/controller with my Canon EOS 80D camera. This mount keeps the tablets firm and secure while I'm out in the field doing photography and videos. Be mindful that I did have to buy a few more pieces to make to whole system work. I bought the 7" Articulating Magic Friction Arm with Hot Shoe mount to work with this. With these 2 items and parts that came, I can make multiple configurations and set-ups. All of which will secure my tablets to the tripod. So I'm "Satisfied in North Carolina!"

For the reluctant exerciser, making the distractions a touch easier is a huge bonus.
This is the perfect accompaniment to our new workout area! The tablet holder functions exactly as described and attaches easily to a regular tripod. We have it positioned snug to the handlebars of our stationary bike--so it takes up almost no floor space, but also doesn't impeded the full use of the handlebars. This enables us to stream workouts or to workout while being distracted by the next big thing on Netflix or Youtube. But, by having this attached to a tripod--we can very quickly re-position the entire unit to accommodate floor exercises such as yoga, pilates and strength exercises. It makes it so quick to move from one activity to the next--maximizing the work-out time for actually working out.For the reluctant exerciser, making the distractions a touch easier is a huge bonus.

The perfect solution for tablet photographers
I was impressed first of all at how quickly the iKross tablet tripod mount arrived after placing the order. I was impressed by its rugged construction and its ease of installation. I love the fact that it's adjustable to any size tablet and locks into that adjustment. I used it for the first time just last weekend to take a group selfie photo during our grandson's fifth birthday party and it was the perfect solution! (The only disappointment? It doesn't fit my Android phone which takes better quality still photos and video. But, then again, it wasn't made for cell phones.)

Quite Nice!
I've used this quite a lot for holding my Samsung Galaxy Tablet S3 and it fits really well. It's also pretty sturdy. My only problem with it is you have to tighten it as best as you can so that it holds properly, or else your item will most likely fall out of it's grip, but that isn't much of a difficult task.

Used with my iPad Mini 3rd Gen--I like it!
This Tablet connecter is well made! The quality feels really good and is functional. I'm using it with an iPad Mini 3rd Gen. TIP: This will NOT fit the 4th gen Mini in "Portrait" Mode since Apple made it a tiny bit taller. It WILL fit in "Landscape" Mode... since the iKross connecter at full extension fits the mini 1/2/3rd gen snug. I won't be able to use the mini with a case while using the iKross. That's how snug of a fit it is. You could remove the foam if you wanted to make it fit with a case...but I don't mind not using a case while using this....I still like this tablet connecter and recommend it! It does fit the Tripod and feels solid.

Gets the job done
I purchased this product to do stop motion animation. It is lightweight and easy to use. I do not know how durable it will be in the long run because the locking mechanism seems a little flimsy because it is just made out of plastic; however, it might not be. I am going to take the gamble and order a few more to use for a group project.

Good tablet tripod adapter
I am indifferent with this tablet tripod adapter. I have an iPad Air in a case, so it does not fit in this adapter. I need to remove it from the case, but the case is super tight, I cannot remove the tablet from the case. I have been using this adapter with my tablet in a case. It holds the tablet, but not tightly in its "claws", but I use this more so to put my tablet while I'm on an air bike to watch shows on Netflix. I am not intending on using this to take pictures, so it works for what I do. It fits in tripod well. My spouse has his tablet without a case and it fits his well.

Product is exceptionally light and the seller delivered it on time and in perfect shape.
I have a not so usual use for this stand. I have a Longarm quilting machine and the robotics interface is with my Samsung Galaxy. I needed a way to attach the tablet to the top of the machine and this product worked perfectly. It accepts the tablet with or without the tablet cover. Just needed a 1/4-20 screw and bolt to attach it. Product is exceptionally light and the seller delivered it on time and in perfect shape. Just a not to the question about his iPad Mini 4. This will work only in vertical mode but not landscape. If you are just looking for something you can use as a stand then consider the case made by Spigen. I bought one for my iPhone 6s plus and the nice thing about their product is that it performs as a very stylish case and comes with a retractable stand built right into the back. Way cool looking too. Spigen products are on this amazon site.

Seems like it works well but made of plastic and flexes slightly...
Works well - holds the iPad securely (iPad 2 without a case). However it is made of plastic, and can flex slightly - this leaves me doubting it will stand the test of time, but for the price I am satisfied. If you require a sturdy tripod holder, where you don’t have any doubts if it will hold the tablet, don’t buy this. If you are looking for a budget holder that will hold a tablet with reasonable certainty, this is for you...

Could use some design refinements to actually work with 7" tablets, should work as intended for anything bigger.
Not quite compatible with 7" tablets: even in the tightest position, the jaw is still about 12mm too wide to hold a 7" Galaxy Tab 3/4/A without modifications in landscape mode. In portrait mode, the fork between the arms is not deep enough to clear the 7" Tabs' camera. A few minor design tweaks could solve both issues. To make this adapter usable with my 7" Tab A, I used pieces of 1/4" vinyl tubing as shims to securely wedge the tablet in place. Once the knob turned in the locked position, the grip seems reasonably strong. Certainly strong enough to be far more worried about knocking the tripod over than the tablet out of the adapter.

Overall its great. Bad mount threading
The thread pitch on the base is not standard to 99% of the photography equipment out there. I cant use it on any of my equipment as when I thread in the mounts. It wont go in more than a rotation. Then it cross threads. Otherwise it hold the tablet well.Used a 1/4" tap on the brass fitting and its working much better now.
