Great gift set for first time DE safety razor users.
I bought this because I get some horrible razor burn with every cartridge razor I've ever used.The Edwin Jagger razor that came with it has been great. The derby extra blades gave me some horrible razor burn, but the wilkinson swords have been great. I appreciate having the variety because it showed me how important the blades themselves are. On the same note, the razor burn I got from the derby extras was still far less extreme than that of what I was getting with cartridge razors.The sandalwood/lemon shaving soap has a good scent to it, but is not as strong as I'd like post shave; it's more subtle than in your face.The stand that came with it was a colonel conk's, and the brush is a silvertip badger brush (supposedly the best kind you can get) which surprised me.All in all, this is a spectacular set for the money and was a great purchase for me as a first time DE safety razor user.

Quality, luxurious shave kit
This shave kit is absolutely great! Everything you need to get yourself back into the way men shaved back in the good old days. Nice, high quality, hefty razor that feels good in the hand. High quality, heavy duty stand, a very nice mixing bowl for your lather, and the brush...Oh man, that brush! Just too cool and a real touch of luxury and class. This kit is a treasure chest for any man that shaves!

The blades are pretty easy to replace and not expensive either
My husband loves the shaving kit. I bought it for him for Christmas and he uses it every day. The blades are pretty easy to replace and not expensive either. Also decided to buy one for my father and my father in law and they love it as well. Great product and very good quality .
