Nice reading lamp. I like that you can change the tone and intensity of the light. It does light up my book and laptop well. Seems well made. Easy to apply the clamp, easy to adjust with the bendable neck. The light doesn't hurt my eyes, even with hours of use. Has a nice ambiance as well if using for general lighting and not for reading.

Purchased this as a light for a changing table- allowed us to play with brightness so as not to wake everyone up and it attaches nicely. I like that the light brightness is changeable and that you can easily move the neck.

I can't speak to how sturdy it is, because I put mine in place (clamped to the back of my computer monitor) and left it once I'd positioned it to my liking. With its long gooseneck, it's extremely configurable and has so many levels of brightness and lighting color, I can't imagine anyone wouldn't be able to find a setting that works for them for every application. I initially bought it for video conferences, since the lighting in my office is all from behind me, which looks just awful on camera, but I now always turn it on, because it lights my monitor and keyboard so well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars overall is because, of the 3 I've purchased (one for myself, and two for end-users at my company), 2 had to be returned (one, because the on/off switch quit working and the other, because it stopped working in any USB port available to the user). HOWEVER, the company handled both fantastically, sending replacement lamps PRIOR to receiving the returns of the defective units, so I'd give EYOCEAN 10 stars if I could!

This was a huge help since sometimes my husband works nights and I use this for while he is asleep during the day so I don’t have to turn the overhead light on. Also works great at night when I stay up late and read or class work. I’d buy it again!

Its perfect for my needs. Now i can get some work done on my laptop while laying on the bed. I have a battery powered light which was annoying to use as i have to change the battery. This one i just need to plug to electricity for me to have consistent level of light. It looks sturdy enough: both the clip and the gooseneck. Well-made.

Great product

I originally bought this because I often get up at night to use the bathroom but with my ceiling fan on and the light off, I would have to fumble around in the dark looking for the string. The clip on light allows me to put it on my headboard for when I first got it and now my new bedside caddy that way the extension cord that it’s plugged into is on a safe surface away from my sheets.Pros: The light is adjustable with different colors and different levels of brightness. The color and brightness stays where you adjust it even when you turn it off and then back on which is a plus since you won’t be blinded by the light. Dimmed lights is a major plus for me because I can use it however I choose. The clip is padded so to not destroy any furniture and it’s not heavy or hard to clip on so adjusting is easy.Cons: The only two problems that I have with it is that the extended arm that allows you to maneuver the light around isn’t the best. Depending on position, the light will not stay that way so the flexibility is a tiny bit limited (but not too bad that it’s noticeable). It is also not as stable so the light will slump down to a certain point due to the lack of sturdiness in the neck. Lastly, the remote to the light is awesome but it has this small, unnecessary led light in the middle of the remote that turns on when the light itself off. This personally bothers me me because I am like a vampire and I need absolute darkness in my room when I’m sleep. Therefore, a light right by my head at night that can easily reflect off of my glossy black headboard is a no for me. I just went about it by placing the remote right behind my headboard where if I need it in the middle of the night, I can easily reach for it (but once again this is just a small preference that may not even bother others).Overall, this is a perfect little light!!!

Power surge it didn’t come back on.

This little lamp easily clamped onto my bed frame, and within seconds I was reading by its light. It came with a USB charging block, and the control switch is built into the power cord. There are 4 buttons on the controller: the bottom one turns the light ON and OFF and another button cycles through the colors: there's a bright white, a medium white, and a more reddish light.There are 10 different brightness levels for each color setting, this is adjusted by using the + and - buttons.The clamp is made of metal and seems pretty strong. It has a fairly powerful spring holding the jaws closed and was able to hold the lamp steady when I swiveled it around. The gooseneck is also metal and is very tight, meaning the light doesn't sag or droop, even when positioned straight out.It's powered by 5V USB charger and the lights are LED so it doesn't use much energy. In fact, I could even use this when camping if I power it using a portable USB charging block. And LED lighting means I won't be changing bulbs anytime soon.My only "thumbs down" about this unit is that I ordered it in silver (the price was lower than black or white) and it came with a white clamp instead of silver. It doesn't look as nice as if it was all silver, but it doesn't bother me much.Overall, a decent little lamp for the price.

Ya ha pasado más de un año. Súper buena lámpara. No pierde fuerza el clip, no se calienta de forma peligrosa, no pierde la flexibilidad para mover el brazo y la luz súper bien. Muy recomendable!
