Tuscany Leather Shanghai Leather backpack Red

This is my first Tuscany Leather purse/bag/backpack and I'm very happy with this item so far. The leather quality, craftsmanship, design and interior is very good and flawless.The purse/backpack has two small bags in front and back with a good length zipper. At the front you can also make use of the pocket bag for easy storage. This bag is also very secure as the top zipper, the one that gives you access to the largest storage area, remains folded into the bag.The space available on this bag/backpack is good enough for daily use. It is a lightweight purse and that is something I've found convenience. All zippers run smoothly and the strap/zipper design is great as you can wear this purse as backpack or as a sling bag.On this purchase it was included a protective bag to store this leather backpack while not being in use (please refer to the attached pictures).I've attached several pictures for anyone who wishes to check how this bag/backpack looks like.Finally, this seller/manufacturer was very fast to send this bag as it took about 2.5 days to reach destination and it was coming from Italy (I did choose the expedite shipping method on this order).

Just received my purchase. First off.Cons- I chose cognac but am not loving the color choice now that I have it. This is my only dislikePros-In the picture. I have all my regular purse necessities: wallet, make up bag, sunglasses case, monthly girl stuff bag, and foldable shopping bag. Everything fit nicely.The front pocket has an iPhone 8plus.The front zipper has my earbuds and back zipper my keys & lip gloss. All easy to get too.Very functional and good quality. I can fit my cell in the zippered pockets if I choose to.The bag stands up on its own.It’s nice to have the strap unzipped for backpack style. Very versatile.The shipping was very fast from Italy to the 50th state.I’m not 100% happy w/ the color but it’s not enough for me to return. I’m sure it will grow on me since it’s more of a classic tone. Not hip and trendy.If you like cognac color- buy it!

I am so happy I decided to purchase this bag. The leather is beautiful and the design is very nice and unique. There are so many options for where to place items it does take a while to get your items organized because pockets are available inside and out. This was purchased as a backpack for when traveling in europe so I could carry money, phone, personal items and feel they were safe. I think this will work really well. I love that the strap can convert from backpack to shoulder strap although I have some reservations about how long the zipper will hold up. Even my 15 year old son commented on how nice the bag was and thought I had spent a crazy amount of money on it. The color cognac is exactly as it shows online and beautiful. Well constructed.As a follow up: I travel through Europe for over two weeks with this purse and it was perfect for my trip. I have owned it for several months now and get compliments on it all the time. The straps / zipper are durable and not showing the least bit of wear or signs of giving out. I'm very pleased and happy I made this purchase. A wonderful purchase and great value for the price I paid.

After reading some negative reviews I was apprehensive when I first received the package. The Fed Ex Box arrived promptly, from Italy. Be warned you need to sign for it. The cognac color is beautiful, I would describe it as a darker camel, like a saddle. (Not orange but there are colors it would clash with, since it's not exactly neutral. I'm thinking red would not work.) It is definitely real leather, you can smell that it is. As I examined the pockets and openings I thought, uh oh, this is way too small. The open pocket on the bottom fits my phone, with room to spare. Lipstick, tissues, and small keys would fit. I clip my keys to the top loop. At first it seemed a tight fit but the leather adjusted nicely. It keeps the phone secure without needing to be in a zipped compartment. The vertical zippers on the front and back cover pockets that only open partially. Flat objects such as a wallet would fit. (not an I pad) I always carry two glasses cases, so they would have to go in the main center compartment, which is only accessible from the top. It seemed that may be difficult to access without taking the whole pack off, but I was wrong. The straps work as sort of a drawstring so that as soon as you pick up or wear the bag the top closes. When you shrug it down to get something out the top gaps open and voila', you're in. No need to zip the zipper every time. There is a zipper compartment inside which is big enough for a passport and other items. Also a small open sleeve into which I stuck some pens and a nail file. The main compartment easily fits my Kindle Fire, along with the glasses cases and my tiny makeup bag. The I pad will fit but then I can't zip it shut. (and the kindle could not fit simultaneously) Not really a problem since the top cinches closed when you pick it up, but I think that would not be ideal for travel, since you would want it zipped. Overall I think it is an ingenious design, it just took me a while to figure it out. This is a small (not mini) PURSE sized backpack. For traveling I would get a bigger one. The stitching is perfect, all the zippers work well, and the leather is really nice quality. With use the leather has already softened making the compartments easier to access. I'm glad I bought it.

Check the shipping charges when you place an order. Description states 3 inside pockets I only have 2. One zipper and the only other one will not hold a cellphone. Leather is nice but the strap seems flimsy. Also doesn't hang straight when worn. I would have returned it but the shipping charges I was charged ($25.00) plus return postage is half the price of the bag. I'll use it if I am not carrying anything heavy in it. Tablet, kindle, etc too heavy for the bag.

I owned a series of the Visconti backpacks, binned when the lining went, which was in far too short a time in my view. I have shoulder issues and the backpacks were recommended as a good way of carrying stuff, long before they became more common place, and in the days when the only decent leather ones were Visconti or HiDesign, both of which were (and remain) not cheap. Eventually I succumbed to the dreaded smaller synthetic Nike backpack which I managed to wreck, but stood up to commuting for several years while multitasking for walking holidays. I used messenger bags. I even own a LePliage backpack but it will not take much in terms of weight.So when I met an old friend for lunch and admired her leather (Visconti) backpack, I decided to reinvestigate the world of leather backpacks, hoping design had moved on over 20 odd years.What I ended up with was a fantastic smart leather bag with a serious lining. It may not have as many pockets as the Visconti but it has enough to offer security. It may also be slightly smaller, but only slightly, and it certainly can carry all I need...keys, purse, security pass, makeup bag, tissues, hairbrush, electronic organiser, Epipen in the zip pocket, phone, chargers, scarf, etc. It weighs just under 500 g empty and the design is very clever with toploading. ( I had one previous bag with diagonal side loading pockets into different compartments which I found a nightmare. The lining was also flimsy. )Now to delivery ...it arrived early, you can track on the DHL site using the tracking number you are sent and request updates. You won’t get a timed delivery but you will know the day. It took four working days, very good, given I ordered over a weekend.And best of all, it was at a very good price on Amazon ( it may be a limited time offer, looking at the website, to celebrate an anniversary).So a very happy Money Mouse ... and congratulations to Tuscany Leather on a great bag. I can see why people buy again from you.I hope this is helpful to others ...and no, I did not get any form of promotion, discount or anything else ...I just think this is a really good bag at a great price.

Gorgeous bag - beautiful quality leather. And very secure when on your back unlike most other backpacks which can easily be accessed by thieves. Will probably buy another. Lost a star because no advice of delivery date - could easily by remedied by offering a text service.

I purchased this bag to take on a city break. Perfect size, nice leather and not too heavy before you load it with your daily essentials. Plus, you have three different options in the way you carry it.Arrived promptly, bag was as described. So all in all I’m very pleased.

I love this backpack. Beautiful soft leather. Lightweight. Smart enough to use all the time. I am half Italian so a homage to my heritage! Good value for such good quality.
