A great all in one unit!
As I mentioned in a previous review, I do stream here and there strictly for fun and I don't take it super seriously. I was previously using the MV7 in USB mode, but I got talked into buying the GoXLR by a friend as they had nothing but good things to say about it, and that he didn't regret purchasing it at all. I was getting pretty fed up with the issue I was having with the MV7 (feel free to refer to my review of the mic for more info on my experience with it, but long story short, the gain level I set would reset back to the max level whenever I would restart my PC) - so I wanted to switch to XLR to remedy the issue, and I felt like the GoXLR was a good option as it also cut out the need to use submixes in OBS as I was able to get rid of the virtual cables I was using since all of that work is done on the GoXLR. The best part of the GoXLR is the fact it has the following built in: Noise gate, EQ, compressor and de-esser. The reason this is a great feature is because normally I would only be able to use those filters on my stream/recordings, as you can't add any of these features through Windows - so I have the effects on my microphone universally, meaning that I'm EQ'd not only on OBS, but also on the likes of Discord with friends. To me, the voice effects (pitch, reverb etc.) and sample pad are just an extra bonus, and I do find myself using them from time to time for comedic effect! I would have went with the GoXLR Mini, but I really liked the thought of the mechanical sliders, as well as the fact that the cost of getting the GoXLR Mini along with some decent voice changing/filter software and a sample pad would probably come to around the same price of the regular sized GoXLR anyways, and it is nice to have everything built into one robust unit. The only issues I have with the device are strictly due to software limitations, which can and probably will be fixed with future software updates from the TC Helicon team. Their Discord server is exceptional, as they are very active with not only tech support, but with sharing their planned features for future updates. 100% recommend this unit, even just for general use, it is incredibly powerful. If you're a streamer also, it makes life so much easier with being able to split your game and system sound, so if you have sound alerts set up, you no longer have to battle with game audio being too loud, as you can assign it to a slider and control the volume independently of the system/alert sounds, and the same goes for the likes of music and Discord/voice chat audio. One thing I would love to see in the future is something like a GoXLR XL, or a GoXLR Pro, which has even an extra 2 sliders - as I feel like 6 channels/sliders you can assign sounds to would be a perfect number.

Great sound quality and extensive audio routing for streamers
Setting up audio on a dual or single PC streaming system is super easy. It removes all the headaches of getting sounds from one PC to another. The XLR mic option allows for a good choice of studio mics or you can just use it with an existing headset mic setup and it sounds good. It works with Elgato capture cards and OBS or streamlabs. Plug and play. Control sound going into your streaming PC with one cable and alert sounds coming out with another. Super simple to setup but allows for advanced options controlling lots of audio sources. What really amazed me is the sound quality it gives in games. Coming from a Creative Labs X3 and GSX1000 paired with Sennheiser headphones, the clarity of in game sounds is in a league of its own. It doesn't require any gimmicks or software settings to create pin point sound positioning and depth of sound that blows any dolby, vitrual 7.1 configuration I have tried. In games such as Division it picked up sounds I never knew were in game and added to the whole experience. Honestly, even if you don't stream this is the best audio device for playing games online with friends. At a touch of a button I can mute everything, route audio to external speakers and mute headphones or vice versa. I can adjust chat volume in discord with a slider and listen to music routed through the amp while I game. Everything just sounds wonderful. Even if you don't ever plan to stream, this is the best replacement for onboard audio, sound blasters and external gaming amps you'll ever buy.

Good Quality, Versatile Usage
As a music producer and music technology writer, I was looking for something that would allow me to quickly record short example audio tutorials to enhance the written content of my software reviews. I am a Windows user, and ASIO drivers generally limit the number of applications that can use them at any one time, this little mixer enables me to patch my digital audio workstation (Reaper) as well as two streams of tex to speech voices (I am blind and use a screen reader to navigate applications), as well as record my voice simultaneously whilst demonstrating. All I needed to do was to choose the relative asio driver within each of the applications I was connecting to it at any one time. This works really well, there is also a third party application available through github which makes the native configuration app more accessible for blind users. This will also be useful when I need to demonstrate things live over a Zoom call etc. No real negatives given the price, although I would have preferred a 1/4 inch jack input for the headphones rather than the 3.5mm one, and the line in is also only a 3.5mm where the larger jacks or RCA would have been better, I guess this was perhaps down to space. The pre-amps on this are pretty clean, and the xlr mic input is good. I echo what another reviewer said about surface scratches, there is a protective film of plastic that simply needs to be peeled off and all is golden! All in all, great bang for buck, very flexible, very pleased, the point deduction is only for the tiny 3.5mm jacks :)

perfect for streaming
i use this with my Shure mv7 mic and its perfect for streaming or communications.. you can isolate different audio sounds with ease if im watching something on twitch i can isolate my discord chat so i can here the stream better so easy. its easy to use and set up. its pretty straight forward looks amazing very handy that you can mute different sections for quick response makes everything so much easier to stream or just normal life as you don't need to keep tabbing in and out to mute something. very good value for money still debating to get the bigger GO XLR as the mini is so good.. yes its slightly expensive but it saves you so much time and makes everything easy.. you can alter you mic sound with ease to make it sound how you want your mic to sound.. the only problem i have with the GO XLR mini is that it dosent have a OFF button so you just put it into sleep mode in one of your profiles... i love how this has made my setup so easy for me to use and how quick i can do it.. the colours are really good i its small enough that it dosent get in the way also all in all a very good product

Perfect Product
I have now used this as part of my workflow making youtube/stream content as my full time income for over a year and it's brilliant. The multi fader volume control allows super easy adjusting of various programs without having to dig around in the windows volume mixer - which can be a stressful to do quickly when live! The realtime microphone denoise, desesser and eq allow me to completely bipass audio programs like audacity and audition when recording voice over for youtube videos and I can instead record directly into my video editing program which makes for significantly less audio post production required (huge time saver for me!). And because the audio post production is done on the device my mic sounds consistant wether im using OBS to stream, recording voice over or chatting to friends on discord. The device doesn't power off the lights when turning off the PC which is annoying and it doesn't look like there will be a good solution any time soon. I personally haven't used the voice effects that are only on the bigger goxlr much myself but the functionality is excellent so if you have a good use case for them, it's worth checking out. The price is quite a lot but I think for what it does this has been one of the best purchases I've made in a while.

Great, until it devlops a fault, then it rapidly goes downhill.
Purchased one of these back in 2021 and everything was working fine and dandy until August 2023 (4 months before warranty was over). Got in touch with TC-Helicon via Musictribe and explained that if the unit moved even a sliver, the device reset itself. No response. I had tried different ports, drivers, firmware and so on - as long as it never moved a micrometer, all was well, but even a tap of the desk and it would reset. I got zero response from my technical support email - which to be honest, I wasn't shocked given that earlier this year, they shut down the Canadian office and made the staff redundant (all this was posted on their Discord server). But the deivce was still under warranty and I wanted the issue resolved obviously. I gave them 2 weeks and nothing - so, I got in touch with Amazon and they dealt with the issue totally as normal - so obviously 5 stars to Amazon service for not even quibbling over the return as it was clearly within the warranty period. However as of me writing this review - I finally (2 months later) got a response from Musictribe, telling me how to set it up etc (which is bizarre given I had it working from day 1 and literally could be traced back to the PCB) and secondly, telling me it was out of warranty - which it wasn't but nice try. They "kindly" offered to repair it at my own personal expense - again ignoring it being in warranty now and even more so when I contacted them. So I'm mentioning this purely because - while the product is great when it works - any issues and you should be prepared for either no contact for AGES, or worse, having to get your wallets out for them to repair something within the warranty period.
