Out of all the shaker cups I've owned, this one does mix the best. It's also very easy to clean, and I've had no problems with leaks when it's closed. When you seal this shaker shut, it stays shut regardless of how vigorously you decide to swish it around.There are two issues which slightly detract from the product. The first is the size - it technically holds three cups, but three cups is going to be pushing up towards the top. And that's where the other problem comes into play. Because the top seals so well, it takes a fairly significant amount of force to pry it off. And when you apply that much force, it can be hard to stop whatever liquid is inside from splashing out at the same time. I've taken to opening the shaker over a low counter, pressing down on one side of the lid with my upper torso, lifting the lid via the opposite side with one hand and keeping the cup steady with the other; this has prevented spills from occurring, but it's still kind of a pain.Good price point, though.

This is a cup with a cap. That's it. The cap has a little design in it that didn't really help when mixing my shakes. It's easy to clean because it's a cup with a cap. I don't think this is worth cost. Very high priced to be a piece of plastic with a cap.

This cup works great to mix my whey protein shakes. I use Body Fortress brand whey protein, and this cup mixes it perfectly. I use one scoop of powder and about 8 oz of water, and the cup never leaves clumps or anything. As another reviewer pointed out, it is a cup with a snap-on lid, but its not just a plain cup. It has a cyclone shape in the bottom and on the lid that somehow mix it when you shake for about 20-30 seconds. There's not much danger of the lid coming off, either, it snaps on tight. In fact, that's the only drawback of the cup, that the lid goes on so securely I have to be extra careful pulling it off so it doesn't spill. All in all, I definitely recommend this cup.

Most importantly, this shaker bottle is way easier to clean than other ones. Both my husband and I use shaker bottles regularly, so holy cow do I get tired of cleaning the ones with lots of little pieces or shake that's caked into little nooks and crannies. This one is smooth on almost every surface, so if you just fill it with water and shake it around after using it, bam--it's clean! Barely even have to take a sponge to it. Since the cap snaps on, you don't have to clean all the little screw lines which can get difficult with other shakers. Both of the shakers I've bought snap on tightly and never come off. I shake it with one hand all the time, with a cautionary finger over the lid, but I've never had a problem with the lid coming off.As with all shaker bottles like this, it'll work best if you pour the liquid in first, then the powder, otherwise the powder sticks to the bottom.So yeah, I'm in love with this shaker. Screw all the other ones with their little blender balls or those little inserts with the holes in them to break up the powder. I thought those were good, until I got this one. I'm going to buy tons more!

I bought two of these and they're pretty much useless as a shaker. Instead of the cap screwing on, it just pops on. I tried to mix some protein and the lid just pops off unless you hold it on two sides of the lid with both hands. My brother tried it and the same thing happened. It's a decent cup i guess but that's not what it's advertised as

Yea, got it, it's a plastic cup with a lid. The thing is, the cup works very well! I like it because it mixes my meal replacement shakes very well without a mixing ball. In addition, I like it because I can make a shake, drink it with an oversized straw in my car, throw the lid on with the straw inside of it, and then throw it in the back of my car without having to worry about making a mess all over my car. Not only that, but the cup itself is very easy to clean and the thing is so big, I can use it for just about anything. Not only do I use it to make shakes, I regularly use it to drink water, and have recently been using it as my hefeweizen beer mug, lol. I can pour two large German beers in this thing with ease. I bought this cup December of last year (2011) and it still works flawlessly. Some may say that this cup costs a lot, but the price I feel is justified. This is definitely my favorite cup that I use for everything.

I bought this about two months ago and have used it VERY frequently since then. The design is genius, the price is great, and it's just a great product. The lid and cup itself have groves built in that act as a blender, and you shake for about 30 seconds to a minute and everything blends great. I use a protein powder/water combination and it's great...it blends better than a fork/spoon. I bought one for my dad, who uses it for chocolate milk and malt drinks (he mixes ice cream and milk and chocolate) and he loves it. It's a great gift and a really neat product that you'll use constantly.Only thing is, the cap isn't screw on, it's pop on, so make sure it's on all the way (I hold it down after I snap it in place because I'm afraid it will come off). It's not a huge deal, but again, something to keep in mind. Didn't take off a star for this because I've never really had a problem with it and honestly you should buy this regardless of that snap-cap issue.

This is my first Amazon review, and first review in a long time. I normally don't review things as most of what I want to say is already posted.However, I'd just like to reiterate the 5 star ratings for this product, yes as the guy with the 2 star rating said its basically a plastic cup with a lid! However, it works fantastically...I honestly don't get it. it has two sets of fins, one at the top one at the bottom. I shake my protein with below the recommended amount of milk (easier to chug) and it still blends it perfectly.I would like to add that I bought the blender bottle at the same time that I bought this product, because I was skeptical, I don't even use the blender bottle because it is inferior to this product..unless you enjoy chunks.Anyway turbo shaker is a great product, highly recommended!
