Bore snake for weapon barrel
Been using this bore snake for 3 years and still going strong. Good value for what it is. It’s a time saver because after 5 pulls through your barrel and it’s almost spotless so that’s cool. Quite functional because you can store it anywhere. Fits perfectly for 5.56/.223 barrels.

Better than a rod? Maybe
It's nice how easy it is to use a boresnake. The problem is the quality and how hard it is to clean the carbon off of this thing. I ran it 3 times brand new through my rifle and the material started to unravel. Cleaning it is either by handwashing it or throwing it in a laundry bag and putting it in the washer by itself. Handwashing it got most of the carbon off but it took a lot to get it to a place where I felt good to reuse it for the next cleaning. Is it better than using a rod and patch? I think so but how long before the snake has to be replaced is the question.

Barrel Cleaning Tool
I liked the ease of using the bore snake in camp to clean the barrel as designed.It will also verify that there are no obstructions in your barrel before firing.Be sure and follow the instructions included.Buy the oil, not included.I have no dislikes.Yes, I am going to buy more.
