OtterBoxDEFENDER SERIES for Samsung Galaxy S6 - Retail Packaging - Cool Melon (Sage Green/Light Teal Blue)

Otterbox is so far the best brand case out there that I have tried. That being said, this is my second Otterbox Defender. The last one I had lasted about a year and a half. The charging port cover eventually wore out and wouldn't close, the rubber outer shell didn't fit snugly around the plastic hard shell and it looked disgustingly dirty on the outside, even though I kept it clean. Dust easily got in through the camera and speaker holes and the home button hole. These are still the best cases I have found, though! After my old case gave out, I tried another brand of durable case and it lasted three whole months before it cracked in three different places after only being dropped twice from around 2 or 3 feet. I decided to go back to an Otterbox Defender. I give it 4 stars due to my previous experience with my last case and because THE COLOR OF THIS IS NOT AS SHOWN ! It is called cool melon and the picture shows it as a teal color, but this case is BLUE. I am not a fan of blue but it will do for the price, I suppose.

I recently received a Samsung Galaxy S6 cell phone, and the phone has a shiny surface, which makes it easy to drop. I searched for protective cases and found this one and purchased mainly because of the reviews. The case is quite protective, and even has an attached screen protector. I purchased a tempered glass protector and use that along with the attached protector. Some users stated that they removed the screen protector from the case, and I may end up removing mine also. I like the extra protection on the screen, but somehow small particles of dust and plant matter have managed to slip between the attached screen protector and the tempered glass protector on my phone; I have my phone with me when I'm in the back yard, so I do not know if it would happen otherwise. The case offers great protection, and I would purchase it again. In fact, I plan to purchase another color. Oh, speaking of...the color is off, but I prepared for that, after other purchasers stated that in their reviews.

Hubby in construction pushed me into this when I got new phone since I am a general klutz. Liked the slight color variation even better than darker teal tone shown. The clip is great when I want the phone to track my steps. Had a month almost. No issues. Love it. One month LATER.... OK, glad I forgot to post the above. So..1 month later for first time ever I lost my phone outside of home. Located it by calling Publix where it had apparently fallen in lot as I was getting in van. When I picked it up at service desk hours later, it had obvious tire tracks over the back. Holy cow! Nothing broken or even cracked! I won't do without again. Unable to take pictures of own phone or I would've posted. AMAZING!!! THANK YOU OTTERBOX!

The picture shows a green otter box. The description says it is Cool Melon-Sage Green/ Light Teal Blue. The Otter box I received is PINK!! I am NOT a pink person. I loved my last otter box but I would not have purchased this one if I knew it was going to be PINK.

The Otter cover I got for my phone when it was new succumbed to years of tough life. It was a rat when I replaced it. I got this cover and it was fractions of the cost of what I paid for the first one. It is not the same color as the first one but I am a function over fashion person and it works. It is protecting my phone. As old as the phone is the cover is likely worth more; even at the amazing price I paid.

I've had to buy this exact case twice, I literally went back and re-ordered a replacement for the phone it covers... or covered. My daughter's Galaxy S6 was stolen and never found or recovered. Insurance replaced the phone and I replaced the case. It has survived chewing, Yes chewing, multiple drops from it's mountain bike mount, it's been thrown many times, painted with nail polish, put on and taken off several times without trouble or frustration. Basically it's explosive behavior proof. The only issue I warn about is that of course, it's not waterproof, so don't drop it in the dog water.... but other than that, I highly recommend this case, or any Otterbox for that matter.

Good case, love the otterbox defenders, but the color of case in the picture is not what you will receive. This case is more of a light blue than this teal color.

I have used otterbox for all of my devices. LOVE THEM! only thing I have to say negatively is like all others the colors vary drastically from the pictures. Cool melon is more like a blue. Not green. And the liberty purple is way lighter than the pictures. And there is no screen wipe to wipe the dirt/dust/gunk off of the screen/phone before putting the new case on. Otherwise I love otterbox! You won't be dissapointed. Dropped my phone soo many times and I never have to worry about it. :)

This case seemed very bulky at first glance but after using it for a few days you get used to the size very quickly, it still fits in my back pocket just fine. The case protects corners of phone really well, but I do still worry about a drop on the screen side if it were to land on something you'd still be done for. It was a little difficult to get the phone into the case initally, had to use quite a bit of force to get it apart and was worried about breaking the case. Overall, very happy with the funtionality and value.

Love this case! My local stores charge 89.00 for the same, but only carry it in black. Very impressed! However the flimsy plastic screen protector bubbles out from the screen which makes typing difficult, but I use tempered glass screen protectors anyhow, so I just removed it from the case

I love this case. It is super durable and gives me great comfort knowing my phone is well protected. The only thing is that the colour that I ordered and I thought I was getting and the colour that actually came were very different....however it has grown on me and I now really like it :) it's more of an aqua blue than green.

Not quite the color as in picture - more of a blue then green. But it is a true otter box and is protecting the phone as it should so color isn't that big of a deal.

Phone saver - has saved our phone many times. These OtterBox defender cases have come a long way since they first came out - much slimmer, lighter, fit better to the phone.
